We've just returned from an amazing family coasteering adventure with Seren Ventures. Our instructor, Andy, was a real pro and provided a very adventurous, yet safe day out for us. He struck the difficult balance between delivering the session in an authoritative way, yet still with bucket-loads of fun. My 10 and 12 year olds found Andy "funny" (I mean that in the best possible way), but they felt safe in his hands. I must admit I was quite surprised at the heights my kids were jumping from: the mark of a great instructor is an ability to empower participants with enough confidence that they push their own limits - which Andy nailed perfectly. The session was very well priced and we were very satisfied that we'd got value for money, I would have paid more. All four of us drove away chatting about the session with enthusiasm. The booking process is very easy and hassle free. I highly recommend this company and hope to book with them again one day.

Great day on Tryfan. Booked for myself and wife as wanted to climb Tryfan. We are happy with most mountains, but wanted the re-assurance and knowledge, as this has no defined routes and only our third scramble.
Rich, our guide was great. He started at a fairly brisk pace and this was to see how fit/able we were. I wanted to do Bristly ridge also, but Rich informed us that the weather was closing in later (it did). Our pace was not quick enough to get both done. My wife was a bit slower (thats my excuse), so we did the North face up, South face down.
Rich clearly knows his stuff and took us up with no issues, giving advice on footholds etc. As the day went on you got an insight into the mountains he has climbed around the world, so had that re-assurance that he knew his stuff and confidence to do what hes telling you. We even had the various plant life explained on the mountain.
If you are considering one of the more challenging mountain trips, but not 100% confident, I would highly recommend booking Seren Ventures.

An amazing trip climbing and scrabbling up and down waterfalls with the family. We were a mixed ability and age group with a number of young kids and we all had an amazing time. The guide Dan was very patient and supportive with us all and it was great to see the younger kids grow in confidence throughout the mini adventure. Would definitely recommend.

Had an afternoon rock climbing and abseiling booked with Dan Hale on 14/03/23, it was freezing we had rain and snow but Dan managed to get us to a decent spot that was still dry(castle inn quarry) to have our first go at rock climbing.
Dan was brilliant, being very patient, going over things as many times as we needed and not being pushy.
Needless to say my wife and I loved it even if we did have to cut the lesson short due to the cold.
We will definitely be looking at having another go in the summer and would definitely be hoping for Dan as the instructor top bloke thanks again

Booked gorge walking as a family of five 2x45, 20,19 and 16 year old. We shared our morning with another family of five of mixed ages with a super keen 7 year old who was amazing. Andy was our guide and he made sure that safety came first he was fun and kept us entertained throughout with his great sense of humour. We walked under and through waterfalls and walked in the river and climbed up the rocks. This was challenging in parts which made it all the better. The highlight was the end where we all jumped 10ft off the rocks into a plunge pool. Would highly recommend this gorge walking and we will definitely book another trip with Andy and Seren Ventures.

Coasteering with instructor Andy, great fun and would definitely recommend. I had my 13 year old son and his friend with me, there were also a couple of other families with us. Andy was very thorough with the safety instructions, he made everyone feel at ease and gave everyone confidence to enjoy the adventure. Andy took us to a beautiful part of the coastline, not the one advertised but somewhere quieter and easier to park at. Andy shared his knowledge of the local flora and fauna and took us to plenty of different jump sites, channels and the 'soup dragon cave'. The whole experience was fantastic!

We recently spent the morning doing the Gorge Scrambling Activity with Andy and we all had an amazing time!!
All the equipment was provided for us to carry out the activity safely and the instructions and guidance given by Andy was spot on. There was only three of us in the group (myself, my 12 year old son and my 15 year old daughter) and we managed to do everything within the session.
We would highly recommend this activity to anyone else that wanted to try something different.

Fantastic multi-activity day in October 2022 doing gorge scrambling (AM) and rock climbing (PM), with kids aged 9 & 12. Sam our instructor was brilliant with the kids, motivating and stretching them throughout our day whilst keeping them safe.
Girls had a wonderful confidence building experience and were buzzing all evening. Definitely coming back with mum!

Great company and a fantastic day out in beautiful scenery. They accommodated a trip for just my daughter and me to go gorge scrambling and abseiling for the day (arranged by email, booked via web page in advance of our holiday). Sam was an excellent, knowledgeable and friendly guide and I was most impressed that they adapted the day to suit the river conditions on seeing the size of my daughter (and the risk of her being swept away by stronger currents). Sam took some brilliant photos of our activities which he shared with us afterwards. We had a great laugh and good fun and would definitely use the company again for another adventure day out next time we are on holiday in the area.

We did gorge scrambling today and it was truly way more than we expected. Rich our guide / instructor made us feel safe and in control, while climbing 800 ft up a series of waterfalls. Climbing , scrambling, plunging from the first moment to the last ! Great value for money and a breathtaking experience- thank you Rich and Andy.
