We arrived today having booked a family ride out for 5, and driven over an hour, to be told that our booking had been can less due to the weather?! It was raining, but it was/is Snowdonia, so no surprises there really! We had to go and find someone who told us our booking had been cancelled and we had... More

Whilst on holiday nearby we looked into giving our daughter her first experience of a proper horse ride. Cindy was so helpful in an email after I requested what would be possible and when. Then, when I booked she was just as helpful and accommodating on the phone. We took our six year old daughter and were greeted by lovely... More

Came here with my family. 2 boys aged 12 and 8 who had never ridden before and then an adult beginner and myself an experienced rider. A little disorganised to start and we were left waiting for 20 minutes in the rain while another group were sorted. But all in all a good family time spent with friendly horses and... More

Whilst my daughter and I had a great hack, the welcome to our arrival was non existent. There is no reception area, so we stood in the yard waiting to see someone. Eventually a women who was tacking the horses came out and said she was running late. 45 minutes later we eventually got on the horses. The stable hand... More

What a pleasure to go riding again after all the years of being a townie. Nice gentle walk through the forest for an hour and a half was just enough for me, however my wife would have gone on longer. Very helpful, patient and friendly staff, nice calm horses. Would definitely go again if in the area. Thanks

Booked a 90 mins hack with my sister, we can ride but only do so a couple of times a year. Stables in the middle of no where but easy to find if you follow the instructions on their website. The yard is clearly a working one with chickens and dogs running around but owners very friendly. Our mounts for... More

writing this on behalf of my wife who did the afternoon ride whilst I was at go-below. she came back smiling, happy and relaxed after enjoying an afternoon in the mountains. she really enjoyed the guided ride, said she always felt safe and was given the choice of horse to suit her ability. thanks!
