There are some interesting items here, the shop also has some items difficult to see elsewhere. Yes the miniature train is an attraction for children as is the museum.

Bustling place but the Model railway & museum are fab for families to visit. The town itself is lovely & little gems can be found like the Nursery gardens cafe; the cake is delicious!

Kids enjoyed our time here especially the steam train. Woman in shop was a bit grumpy though and upset my Grandson by shouting at him for no good reason.

The shop and museum are open every day from 10am to 5pm. Trains run most days from 10.30am to 4.30pm
