Just great for all the family. Have been camping and holidaying in the area for years and love being in the forest so much. Smells so fresh and clean. The paths are signposted but not that great in places, but plenty of paths to follow....More

Walked the 10km route with my 14 month old dog, on a lovely clear December day. Beautiful scenery all along the route, which took us on narrow pathways along the river as well as wide forest roads along the lake. The route appeared to be...More

We walked into the forest having parked in Llanrwst. The only criticism we have is that the layout of the walks can be quite confusing. We completed the walk marked with black footprints on the marker posts, and then joined the yellow footprint walk. Unfortunately,...More

Typical Welsh forest, wonderful walks, stunning views, and a great many routes to try. Take a picnic, find a quiet place and relax for a lovely peacefull meal. Take your time and take in Welsh beauty. Don't forget your hiking boots.

Went up to Llyn Elsi which was a steep climb but the Llyn [lake] was beautiful and worth the climb. Family groups went up this walk and the children seemed to copoe with the steep climb.

This is a prettu undiscovered area of Snowdonia, with lots of walks and trails which, other than the walk to Swallow Falls and the Ugly House, seem to be rarely used. The book of walks is now out of print, and the area would definitely...More
