This forest is truly beautiful and one of a kind, it has a wide coverage and a lake above it surrounded by trees, it's one of the best spots for walking/light-hiking in the area.

This is a wonderful well maintained woodland - I know because I studied forestry at Uni. Paths are well surfaced and the whole area well mapped to spend hours walking alone, admiring the views and the silence.

This is one of our favourite walks which takes you around Crafnant Lake and is great way of getting away from it all.. The path has been upgraded in recent years which now makes it an easy walk. The road from Trefriw is narrow in...More

We bought a booklet of walks for £3.50 in Betwys y Coed. Loads of walks for different levels. You don't need to take the trail guides with you as the paths are so well signposted. We used Mapmywalk App to log our distance and we...More
