This is the most attractive village I’ve visited in Wales. Great if you’re interested in walking with beautiful views. Plenty to see in the village itself. Well worth a visit.

This wonderful village is a ride by train from Portmadog, an experience in itself. The quaint shops have unique items for sale, in particular a wood artifacts shop. There are walks and a good selection of places to eat. Typical Welsh village.

Three pubs in the town - sorry can't comment as we did not use any of them - we had a decent bar in our hotel - but they all looked worth a visit
