Changed the Ferry to a replacement for Superfast which was getting a refurb even though it had only been introduced onto this route. The Replacement ferry was very basic I its facilities and didn't travel well in the Gale Force winds incurred.

The check-in was efficient as was boarding - this was a one way trip from Ireland to Holyhead. The ferry was modern and comfortable and the staff much better than the rival company!

The ship has obviously been refurbished since our last trip almost one year ago. Our cabin was some stairs up (5th floor), very quiet, clean and almost comfortable. We slept like at home during the night from Oslo to Fredrikshavn. And the staff was polite...More

Just arrived back following a brief weekend trip to Ireland. Weather was pretty poor travelling up to Holyhead from London, and we were concerned that the trip would be cancelled. Embarkation went smoothly - on time with no complication. The trip over felt calm even...More

In a word, brilliant! I consider myself fairly well-travelled and have taken ferries all over the world, including Asia, North and South America. My favourite was the Harwich to Esjberg route, no longer available and to be honest no loss now I have discovered this...More

Always impressed by the efficiency of the operators of ferries - getting us loaded and safely to the upper decks where we could enjoy the views as we voyaged to Ireland. Food was okay, prices are similar to airport prices. Comfortable seating inside and, if...More

Taking the ferry is a good way to get to Ireland. We were in Wales for a week, so driving our rental car to the ferry's departure made sense. There was no problem with booking, driving aboard, etc. We stayed comfortably in a big lounge,...More

Not totally sure but certainly need warning triangle, headlight reflectors. Not sure about fire extinguisher. Check on internet for details. Certainly think you still need to carry a breathalyser kit in France.
