Take the scenic route from Llangollen to Horseshoe Pass in style—by vintage open-top London double-decker bus—on this sightseeing tour. With round trip travel from central Llangollen included, spin through the north Wales countryside and admire spectacular views of the Clwydian Range. Along the way, stop for refreshments at a local café and admire natural sites of interest including Llantysilio Mountain and Marilyn Cyrn-y-Brain.

There are a lot of information boards to read and two DVDs playing, one about the Abbey and a 45 minute one giving details of the town and surrounding areas. There is an exhibition about World War 1 and various objects on display. There are also information boards upstairs and you can read about the 'Ladies of Llangollen' who ran away together from Ireland and lived at Plas Newydd (well worth a visit) for 49 years. Unfortunately there were no pictures displayed in the Art Gallery as there have been when we have visited before. It is free to go in with a donation box.

This museum is run by volunteers and is free entry. There was much interesting display material supported by two audio visual presentations, both of which were a little over long. Worth a visit! there is an upstairs gallery - as far as I could see, only accessible by stairs - with work by local artists.
