You can see a lot from this point, mountains, river, railway station, the town it has it all covered. A lovely place to stand, mainly because there are no seats.

The historic bridge across the river Dee is a place to stop and look around. The spectacular fast flowing river below differs whichever way you look.Canoes are often seen being guided through the rapids and the smell of steam trains emanating from the heritage railway station next to the bridge adds to the experience. The only problem with the bridge... More

A smaller version of the medieval Bideford Bridge in North Devon it stands on rocky foundations across the River Dee and has survived all that the water flow can throw at it over the centururies. Great views up and down flow with a spectacularly preserved Victorian period railway station beside it that sports steam trains if you are lucky or... More

The old bridge has great views up and down the river Dee. If you go when it is in full flow, it is quite a sight and the noise from the water is very loud. It can be mesmerising if you like that sort of thing

I love this bridge, so many happy memories. It offers stunning views both sides of the bridge, and every season has it's own special vista.

This is in the middle of the town centre and to me this is the main attraction in LLangollen. All visitors stand and admire this gorgeous river, it is lovely just to look at but there is always somebody on the river rafting or kayaking it is fun to watch.

This is such a beautiful place to stop and take in all the surrounding views. Just go. You can experience the vibrant energy from the water. Enchanting.

Standing on the bridge in the centre of town you can see the steam railway on your left and then straight ahead in the river there are some rapids. Fun to watch the adventurous going through the rapids. Very picturesque.
