Hi I am sorry you were not able to see the signs on the A5 to Corwen Station but there are 2 signs one coming from the Llangollen end and one coming from the opposite direction. Both signs point to the pay and display carpark. The signs are yellow with a black steam train on, there is also the same... More

Took a day out on the railway with friends an the dog. Great weather an spectacular views. Steam train too! Toot toot. Recommend getting off a carrog station to visit the cafe. Ice cream, tea, cake and sandwiches. Nice little shop to for small gifts. Also head up the rd to the right and stop in at the Grouse Pub!... More

A fantastic couple of hours there and back on a steam train. Stopped off at Carrog station to have cake and a cuppa in the tea room at the old booking office. Definitely recommend the journey and experience.

We were on the electric service, paid the £1 on board charge to sit in the First Class carriage, a wonderful view sitting behind the drivers cab. Journey goes to Corwen but its station has not been completely finished yet. Lovely staff, an enjoyable experience.

Having passed through Llangollen to destinations in North Wales for holidays, over a number of years, we decided to make a trip to visit the railway. Although visiting at the end of February the weather wasn't great but this had little impact on our enjoyment of the train trip. Beautiful countryside with the tracks following the river - absolutely idyllic!... More

Absolutely awful service...after spending £86 on a family of 5 for a return ticket to Corwen intending on a day out. The ticket inspector Informed us we have left the last station after the train already pulling away!! From where we were sat we could not see the sign for Corwen and nobody else on our carriage got off either.... More

As discussed with you, we are at a loss as to how you did not realise you were at Corwen. Services stop at Corwen for 5 minutes which is ample time for people to board or leave the train and, as the service you travelled on was formed of only 2 coaches, the platform and fence would have been clearly... We were staying just over the border in Shropshire and decided to drive the seven or so miles to this very pretty little town to see the railway. The station harks back to the olden days and we would have liked to go on the train but arrived in between the two train times (we did go end of March... More

My good lady Wife bought me a DMU driving experience at Llangollen Railway for Christmas 2016 and which I have fulfilled one of my ambitions and Llangollen Railway was a fine place to do this. The station at Llangollen is like a step back in time!! It is run by mostly volunteers who give up their time to run this... More

I would highly recommend this steam railway in Llangollen. We went for the Santa train at Christmas and it was excellent. All the adults and children enjoyed this. The staff where all so freindly and you could tell they enjoyed the work they done. There is nothing we could fault about this station. We can't wait to return.
