Dinas Bran! A high hill, a warm wind, the jackdaws wheeling on the heights, the crumbled walls of a Welsh castle, and below you on all sides, the quilted land of Wales in pastures, plowed fields and green hedgerows. This ruined castle of the mid...More

We visited the caste on a cold, windy and showery day, it is quite a steep walk to the top but the path was in good condition. It was a bit 'wild' on the top but the ruins and the view made the effort worth...More

Fabulous views and a great hike up. The ruins are very interesting, more information on-site would be helpful though

One of my favourite places in the World. I go up year round, it’s often better in the Winter as the view is clearer and it’s less crowded! You can see England (Shropshire& Staffs) on one side and the Berwyn Range on the other! Seen...More

No camping allowed at the castle. There is a good campsite nearby at Vale Cruccis (remains of an old Abbey) and lots of accommodation in and around LLangollen.
