Lovely views over the estuary. A quiet place to sit with a a coffee. There's a coffee van nearby. I recommend you get something here as the other nearest cafe through the archway has poor service and even poorer coffee.

A walk through the nice cozy town ended at the quay. First a few looked at a piece of the city wall at Berry Street and had a nice overview of the quay. If you walk down and through the city gate, you will arrive at the busy quay. A beautiful bay with all kinds of boats and on the quay you can see the smallest house in England. There is a cozy terrace where you can view this beauty with a drink. At the end of the quay you can see the castle.

The quay is very nice and very photographic if you have the weather. When we were there the place was packed though there is very good walking to the left of the quay and cross over the river for more great areas. Toilets do seem limited though, there are plenty of shops near and the town is minutes away. Beware though parking can be a serious issue, and in the town you do have to pay 30p each for using the toilet at the tourist office area (though don't expect the tourist office to have change) make cure you bring your own.

This area has now become a glorified picnic area. Sadly it has no historical interest anymore and badly need cleaning up. Yes, there are great views to see when its not too crowded which most days it is rammed with visitors. In the summer some tacky rides and stalls are put on the Quay which are totally out of keeping. Conwy is just becoming a place to wander round shops, eat and drink with most establishments charging high prices too. The toilets on the Quay should be closed as a health and safety hazard. Be warned if you don't like dogs stay away as nearly everyone takes dog(s) with them to wander round shops etc and if you don't like dogs in bars and cafes etc forget it. For us Conwy has lost its charm and is way too busy.

This is a lovely location where you can sit and look across the bay. The area has plenty of pubs and restaurants and a fantastic ice cream parlour on the bay front. We were there out of season but I can imagine it would be very busy during school holiday times. We had parked on the other side of the castle and walked around the town walls to the Quay area, it is a fairly small town so I would recommend walking through the town to get a relaxed feel for the area.

Arrived at Conwy for a few hours sunday early morning so parking was easy assisted by car park atrendant. Had a great boat trip for an hour which was lovely. Had fish and chips in cafe which was very tasty followed by ice cream on the front of the bay opposthe little house. Only negative was how dirty the bay area was. You cant blame the seagulls entirely but it didnt make me feel i wanted to sit down anywhere; pavements were filthy. Someone should jet wash and set a good example given how mamy tourists pass through.

Conwy is a delightful little town and this is one of its treasures. Views over the river and towrds the castle and bridges, are impressive.
There is ample sitting space and a variety of places to eat and drink. There is even a Public Loo which is free ton use,- there is a charge of 30p at the Information Centre!

there where highs, and lows of our visit to Conwy. i say highs but there was only really one. and to be fair one low but we only did 2 things so not a very large sample size. the boat tour was amazing but luigi did fall off and he says that a mermaid dragged him off the boat, always getting lost in his little fantasies is my luigi. love it. now on to the bad! the public toilets where the second activity planned for our day and it did not go as we had planned. the toilets where way too filthy and the floor was very sloppy so luigi toppled over a few times and landed in the urinal. messy boy!

Visited whilst on holiday in the area. It was a grey January morning so nice and quiet to take in the views and have a wander around the quayside. We visited for the day so headed into the town centre to get some lunch and look at the shops.
As it was out of season there were some places not open including the smallest house. It would be nice to visit in the spring as summer would be too busy.

Conwy in general is a lovely place and the quay is no different. Lovely to wander or sit and look at the castle and or watch the boats etc
I do take the point of some of the negative reviews in that it is not quite so nice when it is packed and the bins are overflowing and the funfair rides don’t fully match with what is otherwise a peaceful location. Probably best to head down early in the morning or later in the day when it’s much quieter.

Can you give me some ideas if where to park and prices please?

If you don't mind the walk I would consider parking in Deganwy and walking a couple of miles along the coast path into Conwy. Definitely worth it for the views if it suits you and your plans for your visit
