A nice place to take a peaceful stroll, and marvel at the mighty Blorenge towering over Abergavenny. On a good day, stop and watch the paragliders majestically fly off the top and land on Castle Meadows

Linda Vista gardens are situated just south of the town. They are next to a very large car park which, apart from on Tuesdays, is free. The gardens are very pleasant and attractive and contain some unusual plants and trees. Their most unusual feature were...More

This is almost a secret garden located on the edge of town over-looking the river meadows. It is well kept and has meandering paths around the plantings, wood sculptures, open spaces and some superb specimen trees including the largest London Plane I have ever see.

These gorgeous gardens are behind the main town centre of Abergavenny and served by free car parking, except on Tuesday (Market Day). Stunning displays of colour at all times of the year!

There’s not really a wow factor but there is a sense of peace in this space within the town centre. I often walk through the gardens to get to the meadows and the river.

We always enjoy a stroll through Linda Vista gardens. They are not huge but the walks meander around them and there's always something interesting around each bend. Parts of it look a bit overgrown, but not sure if that is deliberate to give a 'natural'...More
