Had a great time here today and would thoroughly recommend. Staff were really helpful and patient, even with a complete novice like myself. Horses were wonderful and clearly well looked after. Am interesting trek through nice scenery, at one point we had a lamb asleep on its mothers back on one side and a steam train passing us on the other, certainly didn’t expect that perfect moment this morning!

This is a very special place. The team are extremely helpful, caring and welcoming and I had a beautiful hack. I felt very safe despite being very nervous to begin with and could not recommend the experience enough. I was really lucky to have a 1:1 session and the company of the instructor combined with her experience and professionalism was outstanding!

My daughter went out on a half day hack during the school holidays last week. It was a nice little group just her and another young girl with leader and she had an amazing time. Her horse Indie was beautiful and she loved riding her, she can't wait to go back and do it all over again.

Amazing experience on the two hour ride. My 7 year old niece came with me, in a group made up entirely of adults other than her, and the staff really looked after and made sure that she was OK. All the other adults did too, some of whom had never ridden before yet had a fabulous time, which allowed me to feel comfortable heading off for a couple of canters and a good gallop up the hillsides. My horse only had 1 eye due to an accident, but he clearly loved his job and was keen and eager to get to the canters and gallops - he knew exactly when they were coming! On the drive home, I asked my niece how much she would give the ride out of 10, and she declared 100!! I have to agree with her. Thank you to all of the staff involved in making this such a great experience for us - and one that we hope to do again when my niece has mastered canter :)

I came for a ride with my nervous 9 year old son - we did the 1hr countryside ride. After a basic assessment in the arena we went on a group hack. I rode Beauty and my son rode Ellie. There were plenty of escorts on hand and they came and chatted to us on the ride. The horses were well mannered and responsive and we had a lovely time.

A big thank you to everyone at the stables. We had a great time this morning on the one hour hack. The horses were amazing too and perfect for beginners. I was very happy and surprised that I was able to trot as well. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Wonderful ride, staff were friendly, horses were wonderful (I had Lottie, what a superstar!). The ride itself was an out and back ride up the mountainside. Stunning views. We did overrun somewhat but that isn't surprising taking a group out on a hack. I would definitely go again and have no hesitation in recommending for riders of all abilities including complete beginners. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful morning.

Rode with my friend on the 2hr and the following day, the 3hr. It was encouraging how there was a 10min assessment prior regarding all abilities. I rode Indi and my friend rode Soli for both rides with Jade, the ride leader. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and when we're back in the area, we'll be riding here again
