Gypsy Wood is an enchanting outdoor attraction for the whole family and is situated in the foothills of Snowdonia, North Wales. Set in 20 acres of natural beauty, discover one of Wales's best kept outdoor secrets. Experience one of the UK's largest miniature G Scale garden railways. Befriend the animals - we have miniature Shetland ponies, donkeys, pygmy goats and Vietnamese pot bellied pigs to name but a few. Ride woody the train a 10 half inch gauge for nearly half a mile through the park.

Spent the day here with my daughter, son in law and 4 young granddaughters and it was awesome.Even though the 3 carparks were full, it didn't feel busy which for us was such a plus as we have a little girl who struggles with crowds!! The staff were lovely , there was so much to see and do, the little... More

Went as a 3 generation family outing and loved this place..not too big for little legs to walk around and lots of things to keep them interested from a ride on the railway to meeting the fairy Queen..enjoyed even by two little boys 😁 the sheep racing was fun and following the giants footsteps kept the boys going. You can... More

Excellent place, lots to do, not too big and not too small and reasonably priced! Defo recommend a visit and the staff are great! Recommend bringing a picnic with you as the grounds are really clean and lots of places to have a picnic in front of the kids while they play, lots of places to clean your hands when... More

We visited Gypsy Wood today with our 3 and 5 year old boys. Both our boys had a fantastic time. My 5 year old was enthralled by the model railway and watched the little trains go by for over an hour. My 3 year old loved visiting the animals and looking at the fairy houses. Gypsy wood offers plenty of... More

Had a fabulous day today at the fairy wood. I went with my mum and dad and my two children (6 and 3). The kids loved it. Around every corner there was something more exciting ... Giant footprints, massive chair, donkey rides, trampolines, fish catching, fairy handing out wishes coming true... My daughter told me that when she is a... More

Visited as a party of three adults and grandchildren aged from 20 months to 11yo and spent a completely enjoyable whole day at the park. The entry prices were very reasonable for a whole day's fun and being able to take a picnic lunch in was a bonus. Plenty of picnic tables dotted around the site as well. The layout... More

Visited with son (2) and had a wonderful day - trains, ride on toys, animals and much more. Plenty to keep him entertained for hours. Never been to a place quite like it - he's still talking about it now 2 weeks later. Only negative was food available - seemed to be limited and poor quality, so would take picnic.

My two year old son and 13 and 8 year old nieces loved it here. We spent a full day looking and cuddling the animals, building dens, riding the trains and jumping in the trampolines. There was plenty to do and see and plenty of fairies to hunt down. My only criticism is the cafe could do with being a... More
