the monument is on the entrance to the castle and sea front. very peaceful to sit and reflect with just the seagulls and waves. very clean and well looked after. children liked the dragon on the front.

Walked up to see the memorial, my youngest complained all the way up but when we got to the top we could see wild dolphins swimming in the sea, lovely views, lovely area.

This is a quiet place to visit in March. I paused to read the inscriptions but also looked out to sea.

The statue is a lovely piece of work , looking out to sea, it’s very visible from a distance. Looks a little weathered over time . If your in the town it’s worth having a walk on the sea front to look at it .

With the waves crashing to our right, the sun rising, heating our backs and the wind swirling around us, our experience of the memorial was quite breathtaking.

A great place to walk or just enjoy the lovely coastal resort of Aberystwyth which remains un spoilt. The views are spectacular

Very prominent position visible from the end of the promenade, the sculpture itself commemorates those fallen from Aberystwyth. I think the imagery itself is very striking and the placement further highlights the struggle of those left behind.
