The museum is very very interesting, only sorry the chemist shop wasn’t open, that looks incredible with all the bottles and jars still with stuff from yrs and yrs ago in them. The lady we spoke too was really interesting thank you.

Would return again for exhibitions
Sep 2021 • Friends
Lovely museum, kept clean and tidy by staff. Extra measures in place due to covid are also monitored well by staff. We went specifically for the Titanic exhibition which was really good and free to enter. I would definitely return for other exhibitions here in the future.

So interesting
Sep 2021 • Couples
We just managed to catch the Titanic exhibition before it ended and are so glad we did. Costumes from the blockbuster film supplement artefacts and information relating to the real ship. Reconstructions of a steerage cabin and first class accommodation help to recreate an impression of life on board the legendary liner. The fate of a number of Worcestershire passengers and crew is highlighted, which adds a local interest. Two exhibits stand out for me: a cream silk nightie which was the only garment worn by one survivor when she scrambled into a lifeboat; and a silver pocket watch, which stopped at the moment its owner jumped off the deck and into the icy water: just before 2.30am, as Titanic was about to plunge into the depths. Very emotive.

FABULOUS TITANIC EXHIBITION
Jul 2021
I was told that the Titanic exhibition was on at the museum. As I’m a great follower of the great ship and especially the film, I just had to visit whilst it was still on.
The gallery and museum is such a well laid out venue for these sort of exhibition, and the whole experience I had was fascinating.

Titanic exhibition
Jul 2021
Really would recommend visiting the gallery if you are in the area. The Titanic exhibition is small but very good, we really enjoyed our visit. Props from the film and interesting to read about the experience that happened with the most famous boat. The exhibition was organised really well and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I know the exhibition isnt on for to much longer so go while you can.

Titanic Exhibition
Aug 2021
We visited the museum recently and were delighted with the experience. We were greeted at the entrance by a very friendly and helpful member of staff and the museum was extremely well organised with covid safety measures in place throughout. The Titanic exhibition was so interesting and had some amazing artefacts including props and costumes from the film! The member of staff at the exhibition help desk was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the displays and artefacts. A great visit and will definitely be returning for future events!

Such a lot to see
Jul 2021
Take time to enjoy this museum and art gallery as there is so much that is of interest here. The history of Worcester and the surrounding area is represented by many exhibits, I was particularly interested in the wide variety of industries and businesses in the area. I was really impressed with the military part of the museum, there was so much on display and the story of the military history of Worcester and its regiments is very well told. The current temporary Titanic exhibition is a real surprise, there was so much more to it than I was expecting and it was so well curated. Not to be missed.

Well worth a visit
Jul 2021
No charge for entry into the two floors of displays in this beautiful building. Friendly welcome from receptionist and questions answered so we went off to explore.

Several rooms given over to the story of local regiments. Very well displayed with plenty of information. As I always have a bottle in the cupboard I particularly enjoyed the story of how Worcester Sauce was discovered.

The Art Gallery had been temporally replaced by a Titanic exhibition. Coming from Southampton where we have a whole building dedicated to the ship I liked the compactness of the Worcester museum's display.

Plenty to see so enjoy.

Well worth a visit to see the Titanic Exhibition.
Jun 2021
My husband and I didn't plan on going to the museum but it was close so we decided to go. To our surprise there was a Titanic exhibition on which was wonderful. There are other things to see in the museum but most of the area is taken up by the Titanic exhibition. It is free entry but to be honest we would have paid to see it and so we left a donation.
