To a collector of early ceramics, the museum is like an Aladdins Cave of treasures! From the earliest years of Worcester porcelain, the very best examples are on display and show the mastery and craftsmanship associated with this iconic manufacturer. WOW!!!

If you have any interest in Worcester porcelain then you must visit this museum. It comprises the largest collection of Worcester porcelain in the world and a good audio tour. Try to go on a day when there is a demonstration. We were lucky enough to watch and talk to both a flower maker and a master guilder. Allow at... More

The Museum is near to the Cathedral and can be made part of a one day visit to the area. Although the china is no longer made here, they have amassed a stunning collection that spans the 250+ years of production. As part of the entry fee, you are given your own personal audio guide, which gives excellent details of... More

A few steps from the cathedral will bring you to the superb Museum of Royal Worcester. This comprehensive display of the products of the sadly missed Midlands Manufacturer of quality porcelain will keep you enthralled. When we visited a retired craftsman demonstrated the application of gold - fascinating.

I stayed in The Fownes Hotel just 5 mins walk away, The group I was travelling with requested that we visit the museum during our stay. The Museum was closed by the time we had checked in so I left a message to say that we would be visiting the next day. There were two members of staff on duty... More

I have lived in Worcester all my life but this was my first visit to the museum wow what had I missed. It is a fantastic museum showing the history of the factory (how very sad it's no longer there) The craftsmanship of the painters is second to none all done by hand awesome. How very very skilled and how... More

Was there for two hours! So much to look at, and the audio headset is definitely the thing to use during your visit. It is on two floors, and they are arranged in historic order. The pick for me was the case designed and created by George Owen towards the end of the tour, truly amazing. Such a shame that... More

The skill and craftsmanship on display is indescribable. You have to see it to believ it has been produced by hand and even then you won't beleive some of the items were produce by human beings

We took a group of French friends to visit who were impressed that there was detailed information in French on each item in the museum + one of the guides spoke fluent French. This was a tour through history with outstanding pieces of porcelain & chinaware, really exquisite & wonderful "pieces" painted by hand, real masters. The story about the... More
