We meet friends here regularly, we live 50 miles from the Hop Pocket, they live the same distance in the other direction so it saves us many miles overall. Having browsed the shops many times, we tend mainly to use the restaurant as a place to meet and chat over a meal rather than viewing the visit as a shopping... More

We had picked up a leaflet about the Hop Pocket in a tourist information office. The concept looked interesting. As we needed to go to Colwall about ten miles away we decided to give it a try. I'm afraid the reality is quite remote from what we expected. Without going into specifics, most of the shops have not got anything... More

This place presents itself as a shopping village. The main focus is a garden centre and there are small shops around that.It is a mix of antiques/bric-a-brac some furniture and food. None very inspiring I'm afraid. The café looked a bit too canteen like to be attractive so we decided not to eat ther and I don't know how good... More

Not a very large place, but there are things here that make a visit worthwhile. We particularly like the wooden toys and crafts, and the booze shop. Other shops include small garden centre, large gift shop, butcher, deli, bakery and a nice café with outdoor playground.

I went to have a look around as seen a leaflet on it. There is a wide range of crafts: glass ware, wooden crafts, furniture , antiques, garden ware and plants , wines and ciders. I bought a bottle of rhubarb vodka. Amazing with apple juice !! Highly recommended to go and have a taste. All the staff were friendly... More

At this venue there is a very broad range of items for sale including shoes, furniture, garden plants and wind chimes, fine whiskies, childrens toys and clothes, and a tea shop cum cafe. It is rightly popular with visitors and is well worth a visit.

Great place to go, I love the garden centre with lots of different plants compared to other garden centres. & many locally grown. The playrite toys & gift shop was lovely with 'oldie' toys and unique stock! Clusters Emporium wow I haven't seen a shop like this before. Eclectic furniture, paintings, collectables. Farmhouse family restaurant was clean, friendly and lovely... More

Although it was a while since we had been here we were very dissapointed. They used to make delicious quiches and home made chips but like a lot of place they seem to be relying on horrible frozen chips. Also quiche was very bland hardly any cheese in fact it was hard to tell what flavour it was. My father... More

Located near Bishops Frome on the B4214. Typical village/ garden centre with lots of stalls etc. There is free parking, a small cafe and perhaps worth a visit on a wet day.
