A great goal if visiting Malvern is to walk to the Beacon. There are tarmac paths so suitable for wheelchairs however the very top does require a short climb. The views are stunning.

Should of picked a better morning to walk the dog. Howling wind and driving rain but we both enjoyed the walk to the Beacon, shame the view was grey cloud all around us.. lol

To access the top of the beacon, which is probably the highest point along the short stretch that makes up The Malvern Hills, you can start from any number of places. For the less adventurous you can take your car quite close to the top,...More

Well worth the walk. There are numerous paths leading to the summit, ranging from easy and paved to steeper, rougher tracks. The view from the top on a clear day is fantastic.

With a great view, you can see many counties from up here. Well worth the effort. Busy in really good weather.

Regularly go up to the Beacon..but in October you also gave the wonderful brown and gold hues of the trees and bushes. 25 minutes at a slow walk from Great Malvern past St Ann’s Well café (worth stopping off) the views into Wales and Shropshire...More

£4 to park at either car park, is OTT for a quick visit. Beacon is 1369 feet. You go past Gold Mine about 500 feet up. Took me 25 mins knackering walk going up, it was bracing & raining at top, though the views were...More

Great views from the top and an easy paved path - there was even a lady making the ‘climb’ in her electric wheelchair
