This is the gateway from the church to the park. Lovely beams over your head as you walk through it. It is an interesting building and worth a look as you look at the other sights.

I wouldn't make a special visit as think this place is over-rated. However, it is an interesting relic of the abbey as was, and contains a peal of 12 bells which is unusual. If you are going to the gardens anyway, it makes the entrance...More

Only been once, it was quite interesting but not outstanding. A visitor could always combine a visit here along with the Almonry museum for a good informative afternoon out.

Had a look at different old buildings with historic character.Never seen as many orchards! Weather was not very good.

The bell tower stands at the entrance to Abbey Park and overlooks the river. It is a fine imposing structure with a lot of history. The nearby churches are interesting and it is in easy reach of Evesham town centre shops pubs and cafes.

This medieval tower is well worth walking around to study the detailed stonework which is really beautiful. The abbey that was once here must have been impressive, but the ruins make a pleasant walk away from the rather grotty centre of Evesham.
