More
The Almonry is a beautiful C14th building in the heart of the historic market town of Evesham. Once the home of the Almoner, one of the Benedictine Monks from the Abbey, the Almonry is now the town museum, Tourist Information Centre and gift shop. The museum tells the story of Evesham and the Vale from pre-history to mid-twentieth century with a beautiful garden, ideal for sitting and relaxing. Our gift shop stocks a wide range of souvenirs, postcards, walking maps and guides, books, gifts and handcrafted goods made by local makers and crafters. The Tourist Information Centre is packed with leaflets and guides to Evesham and the surrounding area. TIC staff are on hand to welcome you to Evesham and to help you get the most out of your visit and stay.

We had been here once before, but that was around 30 years ago, so neither of us could remember much about it. There are many exhibits, covering the Abbey and the history of Evesham, and even activities for children. The garden has many larger exhibits,...More

Well worth a visit, excellent value for money. We came on a rainy day so didn't really explore the garden fully, but the museum itself is amazing. So much local history and artefacts. I enjoyed the somewhay quirky arrangement, varying from themed rooms with mannequins...More

We were searching for something to do whilst in the area and discovered this little gem. It is full of history and laid out in a "higgledy piggledy" way which makes it all the more interesting. Lots of different topics are included and the building...More

Along with the Regal, this is Eveshams best kept secret venue. Proper old fashioned and traditional museum. Crammed full of interesting items all set in a fantastic well preserved old building. Different themes in each of the higgledy piggledy rooms and levels. Very educational. Covers...More

It is what it is, what can you say about a tourist information office. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. It is a lovely old building.

This is a pleasant local museum with some interesting exhibits amongst its extensive displays. I would have preferred fewer exhibits, with more emphasis on what is special to Evesham
