Out in the "middle of nowhere" is a very tall tower where you can just walk around the grounds or but a ticket and go up. The grounds are nice and there are also a coffee shop and gift shop available. Climbing to the top of the tower gives amazing views in every direction.

Attended with my disabled mother. Car park is a walk up a hill so not really suitable, so I dropped her off at the top and caught up with her after parking the car. It's a bit of a walk but well worth it. Great friendly man at the entrance. If you can not make it up the stairs in... More

We had a lovely few hours visiting the tower. Beautiful panoramic views over the Cotswolds. There is also a nuclear bunker to visit. The cafe has some lovely food with plenty of inside and outdoor seating

Both the tower and the cafe are always well worth the time for a visit. The quality of everything we've chosen to eat has always been great and both young (teenage) and old (octogenerians) have really enjoyed the visit.

We parked nearby, walked a few minutes to get there. The tower stands in the middle of nowhere. Decided not to pay for entrance so we walked around for a few minutes, saw the nearby herd of red deer. A sign says that a bomber crashed nearby in WWII and that there was a nuclear bunker in the premises. I... More

Spectacular views from top of the tower, viewing five different counties. Rather expensive to go in however.

We stumbled upon this attraction on our cycling tour. It stands out on the countryside and has a lovely cafe and shop near it. We paid the entry fee to climb the tower, which is the only thing you pay to do. It was 73 steps to the top and an amazing view. Well worth the time and expense (£16... More

A must for starting your tour of the Cotswolds. There are 70 steps up with 3 landings with exhibitions on the way , so it is not an onerous climb. Once you get to the top you will be glad you did it!

Once you turn off the A44 main road be careful, as the road is quite narrow, and some drivers are unwillingly to pull over and be sensible on the narrowest stretch of approach road. Once you get to the top of the road, you will see the parking is very limited. The Tower is set on top of a hill,... More
