Chris Peake and CJP Cotswold Tours were a real find. Chris & Paul guided us for 3 days in the Cotswolds. The tours were informative and tailored to our own specific interests. We saw things that the normal traveler would not see or experience-gourmet pub food, out of the way villages, remote churches, beautiful gardens, stables and castles. And on... More

Chris picked us up at the Birmingham airport and off we went. Over two and a half days he took us through most of the Cotswolds and showed us a very good time. He has a familiarity of the area and knowledge of facts and history that only a native can have. He knows all the back roads and out... More

Paul, the tour lead, was great, he introduced the most beautiful locations and villages in cotswold. he kept us busy whole the time by explaining the history of villages and certain buildings, cottages and mansions. His car was very comfortable, new and safe. He had smile whole the time and became friend with all of us very soon and shared... More

My family (4 adults) just spent 2 days touring the Cotswold with Chris. He picked us up from the train station and basically then our tour began. The days were full, tailored to our interests and needs, and Chris was lots of fun. He has tons of interesting stories and knows the backroads really well. We could have never seen... More

We just spent five wonderful days in the Cotswolds with Paul our guide/driver. It was FABULOUS! Paul is from the area and was able to recount history, anecdotes and details on everything (and we asked a lot of questions) He catered to our every need and tailored our tour days to our preferences. We explored Bath, Stratford, Oxford and surrounding... More

Chris with CJP Cotswold Tours was the ultimate guide and entertainer...very knowledgeable about the whole area. He drove us through so many interesting small villages and hamlets with incredibly beautiful scenery. Thank goodness he was driving because the lanes are so narrow. Having him as a tour guide is the perfect way to visit the Cotswolds...The Slaughters, Barnsley, Cirencester Chuch,... More

In early June, my friends and I travelled to England, and CJP Tours arranged everything for our three-day trip in the Cotswolds. We exchanged emails over several months before the trip, and both Chris and Ruth were always prompt in replying to me. Chris is so kind and suggested lots of places to visit including 'off the beaten track' ones... More

Our family of five came to England this summer and it was the first trip overseas for our three sons. We spent the first day with Chris in Bath, seeing the Roman ruins and other fun attractions. The second day was spent in Chris' neck-of-the-woods, The Cotswolds. His knowledge of the area is superb and he has a lot of... More

With detailed instructions from Chris Peake of CJP Cotswolds Tours, we started our day with a wonderful train ride from Paddington Station in London to Honeybourne Station in the Cotswolds. Chris made the suggestion of taking the train due to the London traffic for the Queen's Birthday celebration. His idea was met with some trepidation as train travel is not... More

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!! Our driver, Tony, was fantastic. Use CJP! They won't disappoint. Tony took us to major parts of the Cotswolds but also little out of the way places. He answered every question, told stories about each town and took us to the most amazing restaurant for lunch - right on top... More
