Grandson and grandparents really enjoyed this tour, seeing the castle from land and river, and much more besides, including great wildlife. Commentary hit the spot with children and adults, and was not excessive. Great views.
Would have given five stars, however although parking difficulties are flagged, I parked in Home park to use the park and ride, only to find it was not running - after I had paid to park, so had to find somewhere else at the last minute.
Very impressed at drivers navigational skills on leaving the river on to a narrow slipway with strong currents.

We were lucky enough to have great weather for the Swan Splash tour. It was great fun - our 6 year old loved it, particularly when we actually went into the river! The guide was really knowledgeable and added some personal touches which made the tour really good. Would highly recommend.

Adrian and Liz were brilliant, really helpful and informative. An absolutely great tour, I cannot speak highly enough of it. Email communication beforehand was great and they even knew our names when we arrived!
I would recommend that you take this trip, you won’t regret it

Left in time. Fun to drive around but the commentary was AWFUL! Hardly anything informative, it was just terrible cringe-worthy jokes and teasing her husband. I had arranged it as a treat for my family and brought friends and was embarrassed it was so lame. Not worth the money!! Don’t go! Hire your own boat or take a different trip!

This is a really overpriced trip for what it is! We expected to hear a lot more about the history and area of Windsor/sites that we passed but this was lacking. The commentary was non stop and at times would have been better if he just stopped with the jokes and singing and let us enjoying taking in the sites!

Interesting trip for all ages. Staff were very friendly and helpful. When we went it was raining and not a nice day but the trip was still really good and we kept dry while seeing things and learning all about Windsor. Great views of the castle from the river. Made our wet day good.

We booked this trip after seeing it online and loved every minute.
Driving around Windsor , the guide points out loads of interesting facts and was Hilarious too . And then down the slip way into the Thames for a trip up the River .
Fantastic way to spend an hour in beautiful Windsor. We will definitely return.

What a fun experience!!
My daughter in law was a bit concerned at the price of the trip, but at the end, said how much she had enjoyed it. Despite a bit of drizzle we were able to have a thoroughly enjoyable time. Views were brilliant! I am so pleased I used my method of drawing lots, on deciding whether to go. Well worth it!

We were looking for something different to do with our grandson, before he starts school. The tour was very informative and fun, especially splashdown into the river.
I recommend this for anyone looking for an unusual family activity. (We did the Swan tour, but this system would not accept that)😃

There are many different cruises along the Thames River, but we chose this one Swan Splash, as it sounds like a unique experience. We did it with total family members of 6. We all enjoyed it. It was very well organized, and the timing was perfect. The guide was very knowledgeable and with some humorous stories. Highly recommended.

Hi, Booked the Duck Tour on Sunday and would like any tips and also where is cheapest to park (or free!) was planning on spending the day in Windsor and walking the Long Walk and around The great Park. Thanks in advance, Emma

We parked by the river. There are two car parks- I don’t know Windsor - so we just parked where we could. I suspect all of Windsor is “expensive “ to park!
Have a lovely time !

hi is this wheelchair accessible i would love to go with my son?
Written April 19, 2017
Hello
No sorry as the vehicle itself is very high to accommodate the water part of the tour and the metal steps up are very steep.

Which is better the road and water tour or the one that's mainly water?
Written June 25, 2016
We only did the road and water but We loved it .. Purely because you learn so much about the history around Windsor as you drive through and then more as you go through the water. I hope that helped

Hi the best plan is to look at the video on the web. But in words
We pick up at the Theatre then head up through the town to the castle, then onto cross the Long Walk, out of windsor to old Windsor, on to Datchet village by the river over the river twice then through home park, throughout the bottom of the town. Then into the river with a splash. Down stream to the town with the best views of the castle turn and back to the slipway and back to the stop this all takes about 50/60 mins. We also do a more river than road trip which heads straight to the river with more time spent on the water.
