The guide was clearly informed and made the whole experience fun. The best part obviously was the splash down into the river thames

A really nice hour out on the roads / river around Windsor. We opted for the 70% water 30% road tour. The staff were great and friendly and the commentary whilst we were moving was interesting and full of facts. The ‘splashdown’ part when entering the river was brilliant and well hyped up by the staff. Whilst on the water we got a photo opportunity for the castle which was nice. Lots of chances to wave at other river users and people enjoying the sunshine on the banks. Overall a good experience. It’s worth arriving early and waiting at the bus stop as the queue does build up. We did and got seats at the front. We will be back to do the other tour another day to see the rest of Windsor.

We went at 10:00 in the morning and we had lovely weather. Liz our guide was full of facts and had a good sense of humour. A great way to see the river and castle and get some facts about windsor. Highly recommend.

An interesting concept. Travel by road through Windsor to the Thames and jump in, while seated in the vehicle.
Plenty of interaction with guests with history question and general knowledge. Once on the river you travel along side other boats and have good views of the castle.
Its listed for an hour but felt under by time returned to the starting point. You do not need to book and just show up it is expensive especially if travelling with a family for that price.

It was a really brilliant trip. One of the best parts was when the Duck drove down the ramp into the Thames. I'm so pleased we went on it. We'll definitely go again.

What a fun tour. The guides are knowledgeable and funny. Felt very safe and well looked after. Our special needs son (autistic) loved it and something we would definitely do again and highly recommend.

Really disappointed- paid for some American friends to go on this - we enjoyed it a few years ago and was great fun. The lady guide delivered the script (which was ok) in the most monotonous and boring way - it was awful with no audience involvement. Embarrassing in front of our friends who laughed at how bad it was. Where is the quality control? I can imagine a different guide would make this a lot better ..

Had a lovely trip with Windsor Duck Tours yesterday. Good commentary, clean and comfy inside. The couple who took us were cheerful and interacted with all passengers. A fantastic experience via road and then on the water. Extremely good value for money. Highly recommend 😊 Thankyou Windsor Duck Tours

We parked by the river. There are two car parks- I don’t know Windsor - so we just parked where we could. I suspect all of Windsor is “expensive “ to park!
Have a lovely time !
Hi can you usually just turn up on the Day?

Hello
No sorry as the vehicle itself is very high to accommodate the water part of the tour and the metal steps up are very steep.

Which is better the road and water tour or the one that's mainly water?

We only did the road and water but We loved it .. Purely because you learn so much about the history around Windsor as you drive through and then more as you go through the water. I hope that helped

Hi the best plan is to look at the video on the web. But in words
We pick up at the Theatre then head up through the town to the castle, then onto cross the Long Walk, out of windsor to old Windsor, on to Datchet village by the river over the river twice then through home park, throughout the bottom of the town. Then into the river with a splash. Down stream to the town with the best views of the castle turn and back to the slipway and back to the stop this all takes about 50/60 mins. We also do a more river than road trip which heads straight to the river with more time spent on the water.
