    Fantastic local brewery
Stopped here after a visit to Windsor Castle and ended up staying for hours. Such a fun brewery with great beer and food and the friendliest staff you’ll ever meet. We loved chatting with Matt and Paddy and the bar staff. The local patrons were also so welcoming to a couple of Americans. I highly recommend a stop here!

Mid-week lunch for me and my Mum & Dad.
Dad & Mum taxi to Thorpe Park and back gave us three the day to explore a bit of the area. After running around like a lunatic in a park and then going book-hunting in Windsor (where I got a lot of fuss and quite a few treats) we were all hungry. Luckily my Mum took charge and found this place, off the beaten track on an industrial estate but right next to our car park. Dad was ecstatic when Mum said she'd drive home and spent ages choosing a pint, or two, from the huge choice. My ears pricked up when I heard things like "Hot Dog" and "Burger". There were no hotdog buns, but my Dad was offered a sliced dog (!) on fries with chilli. Mum had the burger. Wow! I know my hoomans like food but these portions were huge! A massive double burger with fries and enough hotdog, fries and chilli for two. No, really; my Dad had his leftovers boxed and took them home. I was fed loads of fries, some hot dog and some burger. I also got to taste some of Dad's beer, which I love! Chef Paul explained that their menu was changing very soon. This place is amazing. It's a hell of a space to chill and have a drink or meal, everyone is so friendly, the beers are wonderful and the food is great and excellent value. And they're dog friendly, of course. Only the good places are. There are so many chain eateries offering the usual overpriced gunk in Windsor. Go for a five-minute walk instead and get yourself here. You won't be disappointed.

    Very inviting tap room.
Popped in for an afternoon visit whilst on holiday in Windsor. Great range of beers on tap. The building is very rustic but inviting and a great place to enjoy a beer. Food is also available and there was a big screen TV to watch sport. Definitely worth a visit if you like your beer!

    Drink? Yes please
After a long day of walking around Windsor and by the Thames, what better way to unwind than having a few jars. The brewery is close to Windsor high street and a stone’s throw from the Thames waterfront. A great selection of drinks to choose from at reasonable prices, also, snacks available! I had the loaded fries. Will visit again, for sure. Plus it’s dog friendly.

Balmy summer evening sipping Sweet Shop Sour
Had a brilliant evening at this quirky place my friend introduced me to. We had some great food and sat outside on a small but well formed outside area in the sunshine. Would thoroughly recommend their Sweet Shop Sour that is relatively new I believe but great on a Summers evening. Try to guess the flavours in it - I kept changing my mind! Overall we had a great time and would thoroughly recommend

An unforgettable evening at the Brewery with Wildcat guiding us through!
An unforgettable evening at the Brewery with Wildcat guiding us through! We savoured a myriad of their signature brews and even dabbled in some delightful "fruity" ones. The subsequent buffet was the ideal pairing. A little birdie tells me the Middlesex Light Blues Club might just make this a tradition, after all, beer does have a special place in a Freemason's heart🤫. Kudos to Wildcat for the splendid experience! 🍻 #MiddlesexFreemasonry #Freemasonry #CheersToGoodTimes #goodtimeswithgoodpeople

    Awesome Micro Brewery
Being a Real Ale fan, as too my wife, we decided to visit after a morning trip to the Castle. The young lady staff member was very helpful in explaining the whole range of beers etc, and even gave free samples. Once we had tried a couple, food was ordered, and was great value for money. The Brazilian chicken with spicy mayo and lime, complimented the beer as did the huge bowl of fries. The ambience and music was great even at 1pm in the afternoon. All in all a great place to visit and no shortage of beers and merchandise to take home. 🇬🇧🙂🇬🇧

    An absolute gem !
Been a few times and always enjoy. Great atmosphere and staff. Got to try the new food menu and can honestly say it was fabulous. The kitchen is now run by Test Kitchen who are also responsible for the food at an innovative restaurant near by. Really delicious and fresh tasting and a fab compliment to the amazing array of beers.

    Great Brewery Tour
We visited for an evening tour and meal as a large work group. The tour and explanation of the process was really enjoyable, and even those who thought they knew their beer learnt one or two new things. Our tour guide, Willie, was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his craft which brought it all to life. The tap room is a relatively new addition and has a real charm. Our group booking had the mezzanine floor to ourselves where the samples were brought and food served and where we stayed to chat and drink until closing time. A really enjoyable evening for all.

We arranged a private brewery tour as part of a team building event and it was brilliant!

Willie made it so interesting - all the staff are so friendly and the beer is amazing!

Everyone we met is so passionate about what the brewery does and the lunch was good value and very tasty.

The non-drinkers in the party were still made to feel very welcome and included.

Great value for money a must do if you are in the area

Due to covid it was difficult to be able to have a full tour but as the brewery is small the experience we had was perfect and very covid friendly.
We had a total of 7 tasters and all were very generous portions and Willie was amazing talking us all through all the ingredients, the history of the brewing industry and their personal history with both their produce and the royal family.
Willie made the experience really interesting and had everyone laughing throughout.
He took us in small groups (with our masks on) to look at the different areas of the brewery and let us smell one of the brews to get the sense of how the smell changes during the process.
Although was a little apprehensive when we first arrived and the drinking area for the bar was full of cyclists however once we were signed in and seated at our separate tables it was a much better feeling.
I would highly recommend this tour as felt it was experience and great value for money.

My son and daughter in law took my wife and I here as a late Christmas present.
We tasted many different beers and the portions were very generous, we all liked them very much, even my wife who is not much of a beer drinker.
Wildcat Willie was the tour guide and his enthusiasm and passion for the product was immediately evident, i have been on a few tours but this was certainly the best so far to the extent that we will all return and bring friends.
Once the tour was over we spent some time at the bar and Wildcat Willie was on hand to answer more questions.

We did the Windsor & eton microbrewery tour on a rainy Saturday in Windsor. The brewery is a short walk from the high street down a side road on the edge of a small industrial estate. The brewery is fronted by a bar/shop. The factory is entered through a door behind the bar.. We arrived alertly and had a couple of beers waiting for the start. at 1600 wildcat willie our host took us on a tasting tour discussing hops, mead and all sorts of real ale facts. The beer samples were plentiful and, bearing in mind I’m a lager drinker, were top quality in taste. Afterwards all on the tour socialised in the bar and had a few more including samples of their version of Guinness and some home developed whisky. it was great value, and really entertaining as a low key experience. Would recommend. Even if you’re not a real ale/ craft beer type Person, it is worth the trip!!! great evening.

Good food and drink, reasonably priced but to order you have to wait at the bar with no discernible system (at least to a newcomer) to order. Other customers approach along the bar and you have to jump in and grab the bar persons attention before someone else does. When we visited it was fairly busy, the music was loud so it ended up a bit like a free for all to get ordered.
When you arrive you just find a free seat/table rather than being seated. We ended up standing for a few minutes until we saw people walk past us and sit themselves down.
The food was delicious, and good value. You get a pager when you order at the bar and then when the food is ready you collect it yourself from the food hatch at the kitchen.
I would definitely visit again, but better now that I know what to expect.

One downside is that because there isn't really any servers then there is no one to explain the various beers on offer. In other taprooms/breweries the server who comes to the table can suggest beers or explain what the background of the beer is (which is part of the fun of visiting a craft brewery- to try something unique to that brewery). In this instance when you finally get someone's attention, and you know several other people are waiting to put in their orders, you end up picking whatever. I ended up ordering what the man before me ordered.
Perhaps it is worth researching the beers on offer prior to visiting.

I can’t comment about the tours of the brewery or the beer but went for Birthday lunch for one of our party who enjoys beer. Unfortunately the day we went they were showing a match & they have an odd set up for certain menu items, We went early so we could be out before the match started. When we went to order food we were advised that Burgers would not be available until after 1.30 - that was most of our group. Two other items were not available either. The hotdog was very poor quality according to a regular eater of such things, The prices for the food we considered expensive. A 10 minute walk into the town will offer better quality & portion sizes..

Outstanding and interesting and tasty brewery tour. Will Morgan took us through the history of brewing, the methods used, types of beer and the history of Windsor and Eton brewery and their amazing creations. A group of twelve friends did the tour and everyone loved it. Super to be able to taste the beer and on site shop if you fancy buying one of the brews you have tasted.

Stopped off at the brewery shop in Windsor on our way to our West Country vacation. Bought some beers to drink while we were away and just a half bottle of the Ricky-Tick gin. Memories came flooding back of regular visits the the Tick in its last incarnation at the Thames Hotel where I saw Jimi Hendrix, Cream and Pink Floyd in a very intimate setting. The legend that is Geno Washington with the Ram Jam band was my absolute favourite there. The gin too was very very good and the hops really do make a difference. As an ultra traditionalist regarding beer, Guardsman remains my favourite.

Hi Ed, thanks for the review we really appreciate it. Ricky-Tick is a very fond memory for most of us here and we're glad you discovered the gin! We partnered with Devon Distillery to make this using some of our hops and malt as key ingredients. The very first batch was distilled right here in the brewer via Ginny, our gin truck. Thanks again. Cheers, Paul

It is a great brewery making some hugely drinkable traditional ales and an increasing number of craft offerings. The tour takes you through their history, the principles of brewery and their ambitions. Plenty of beer to sample and a chance to taste the ingredients that go into it. I've never handled hops before. It was amazing to smell the fruity flavours and taste the pronounced bitterness that makes beer so drinkable.

Had a bite to eat in the tap room after while continuing the sampling that comes with the tour. Had a great time, would heartily recommend.

Personal favourite was their West Coast ipa but I always love a westy.
