Visited with my family for kayaking on the lake. All very well organised (book and pay online in advance) with friendly and helpful staff. The lake is massive which is great - enough space for everyone.

Our first time here and certainly not the last. It was great to find a lake not far that we could take our own SUP to. Staff were really friendly. They responded to emails overnight and were quick to answer the phone with any questions. It is £15 per craft (at least for our SUP) and you need to book ahead online. For SUP's currently there are 2 times slots 10am-1pm and 1pm-4pm. There are different time slots for rentals and other water craft to hire. We took the 1pm-4pm time slot. It was a hot sunny Sunday but seemed really quiet. The bonus was the compressor pump that a staff member pumped our SUP up in seconds! They had quite a few other sailing boats, SUP and windsurfers that can be rented. There is a cafe but we didn't use it. Also there were change-rooms available. Highly recommended.

So excited to go somewhere you could launch your own SUPs, that was affordable and nearby (within 1hr drive). Place had a lovely friendly vibe about it and the staff were super helpful and friendly on the day, and in calls before when scoping the place out. Felt safe out on the water with kiddies and was very lucky with the sunshine! Great experience and even better when staff helped electric pump up one of the boards, which saved so much time. Would defo recommend and can’t wait to visit again! :)

In short 10/10. The staff are all friendly and ensure that you know what you are doing. I can't fault any of them. The Segway itself is great fun. It takes a few minutes to get used to it, but really great fun. The only thing I would say is the course could be a little longer and more challenging. But it is just a minor point as overall it's 10/10 from me 😀
