Love going to Salisbury Arts Centre, the live lunch means seeing new acts and the lunches are great value with a lovely chef to help if you have a dietary requirement. I have ways had an excellent time there and the gigs are always different. Yesterday we saw a cellist (Jo Quail) who was so completely different and imaginative with... More

We visit the Arts Centre fairly regularly and are never disappointed by the friendliness of the staff and the wide variety of events for all ages and tastes. We regularly attend the live screenings from the Met Opera, New York. However, although there is a daytime cafe, in the evenings the selection of sandwiches and cold platters is disappointing and... We had tickets for a talk by Michael Portillo. It was a full house, the acoustics were excellent but, when questions were taken from the audience, a radio mic would have been useful as they were virtually inaudible. Otherwise, a very pleasant venue with handy car parking within a short walk.

Have visited the Salisbury Arts Centre on many occasions and haven't been disappointed. Most recent concert featured Eddi Reader and it was brilliant.

Probably due to the publicity generated by the Salisbury Arts Festival (27 May-11 June 2016), I ended up visiting the Salisbury Arts Centre (for the first time!), because a number of its events were based there. It's located on Bedwin Street, right by the Bourne Hill Registry Office - and the reason I most probably haven't noticed it before is... More

We only go to see Opera live from the Metropolitan Opera New York, bur can heartily recommend it. A carefully converted church, staffed by a volunteer crew, it can be a bit chilly in the depths of winter but the friendly and cheerful staff make up for that.

A night at the Art Centre Theatre was extremeley rewarding as, along with the rest of the theatre Go-ers we laughed the whole way through a performance of " The Falcons' Maltesers" The play was a spoof private eye story based on a book by Anthony Horowitz and was brilliantly performed by a cast from the natural Theatre Company. Our... More

Thanks for your lovely review, so pleased you enjoyed 'The Falcon's Malteser'. We have lots more coming up in the spring so watch out for our new programme being launched next week (7 December) and if it's family entertainment you enjoy, what about 'Oddly' on Saturday 12 December? We look forward to welcoming you back soon. More

This venue is invaluable to Salisbury; as without it there wouldn't be much going on. (bar the playhouse and a few other infrequent events or venues - and the Salisbury festival) So phew! Love having somewhere to see bands, and stuff for children. It is inclusive, and has varied interesting events. Only downside is (agreed) food is a little uninspiring,... More

The Arts Centre is in a lovely converted church, and as a result it is a stunning looking venue. I have seen some great music and comedy there (also seen some rubbish comedy too). The bar could do with stocking a wider range of drinks but was not expensive. The crowd is usually friendly and the staff are polite. There... More

Boring and uninspiring run by 'Green movement' staff who have an attitude. You can have a coffee and a cake ..the carrot cake tasted like sawdust and I was charged nearly 6pounds! Not much else to say really. The best part are the daffodils in the photo but they were all out of bloom when I arrived.
