Absolutely brilliant experience with impeccable customer service. Recommend getting the video and paying a little extra for a free fall photographer - we can’t stop watching the footage. We will definitely be returning here.
Thanks so much for the experience.

Wow what an experience! My partner got me the 15,000ft tandem skydive to jump out on my 30th birthday. I had to change the date no fault of goskydive but because of covid19. To change the date was so easy i emailed to see if i needed to change and within about an hour i had a reply and after a few emails which were replied to very quickly we managed to change the date. When we arrived i was greeted by a friendly member of staff who took my temperature gave me a mask and told me where i needed to go. Once checked in me and about 5 others got to watch a short film about camera packages, which i thought was a great idea as i wasn’t sure what to expect from each package. After that you have a final chance to upgrade and buy a camera package but at no point did i feel pressured into buying one. Although this time I didn’t buy a package due to not thinking it would be worth it due to having to wear a mask i will definitely buy one next time i jump. After that i got to meet up with my family have a drink and something to eat from the cafe. Then i waited for my name to be called to get suited up and get some training. i had to wait about 10 minutes then went into the area where i met my jumping instructor Chris, he was so laid back and friendly explaining what we would be doing and checking my harness and then just having a genuine chat and asked about my two little girls and said he was a father to a 20month old. Once the plane was ready he walked me over to it we got on and we took off. On the way up he made me feel so relaxed and calm was asking how i was feeling and showing me how high we were. When we got to the jump height as we were last out i got to watch everyone jump first which was awesome. When it was finally my turn we scooted to the door i leant back and off we went. Free falling for 60 seconds was literally incredible and even then Chris was checking i was ok. Flying round Salisbury and seeing the sights was amazing Chris was showing me and telling me what we were seeing. Then we had a lovely smooth landing Chris unclipped me and we walked back through the gate where i received a certificate for my jump. Overall i would highly recommend goskydive! all the staff were extremely friendly and polite and i especially cant thank Chris enough for really making my first sky dive a relaxed and incredible experience. I will definitely be back to do another 😊

Got to jump with goskydive team Edd and Roman on Monday 10th August and they were amazing.

They made the experience stress free , engaging and fun. For those who have not jumped i can assure you with a team like this you will need to worry about anything.

Due to Covid 19 they have put in place an extremely safe environment which is just another element of safety which they have done exceptionally well at.

The experience was FUN, EDUCATIONAL and EXCITING. If you were thinking even remotely about doing a jump then think Go SKY Dive . Genuinely it was EPIC.

My recommendation is to go for the full package and have a record of your achievement at the highest of heights possible on Tandem.

Best part of the jumping higher was the longer time in the air and freefall time added to a longer time of viewing the world at a different angle.

If you have followed my recommendation then do let me know what you thought?

Hi hoodedvillian, Thank you for taking the time to leave us such an awesome review about your experience with us. It sounds like you had a fantastic jump with Edd and Roman. We're really grateful for your comments on the day and we're really glad you felt safe with our Covid-19 procedures and were able to fully enjoy your skydive. It's hard to put into words a skydive, but we think you've summed it up perfectly. It really is epic! It really is great to experience the full 60 seconds of freefall from 15,000ft and enjoying that experience from all angles. Being recorded on your fist experience is something you'll never forget and will look back at for years! Remembering that time you jumped out of an airplane from three miles high, is a truly awesome experience. I'll be sure to pass on your kind comments to Edd, Roman and the rest of the GoSkydive team. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Kind regards, Gaby and The GoSkydive Team

The skydive itself was brilliant, just what I expected. The professionals were great, especially Jamie my instructor.
BUT...

The admin was appalling. My jump was initially booked for 27 August. The day before, I got an email saying the weather forecast was not good. and the email said "If you don't get to jump tomorrow you will have the opportunity be book in as priority jumper for your new date (The first arrival time of any day)." My first date was cancelled due to poor weather so I rescheduled a week later for 11am.

At 8am that morning we were told by text to arrive at 12.30pm "to reduce the time that you may need to wait onsite for your skydive." We arrived at 12.15pm, but I didnt get into the plane until 6.05pm - an unacceptable wait of 6 hours.

At 1pm (45 min after arrival), I did the induction, which means watching three videos - the machine broke after the first one. Then I waited to be called to be kitted up for the jump. Nothing happened for hours. We asked staff at 2pm who said it would be another hour. Still nothing. Asked reception, they didnt know (young women who knew nothing). My wife asked again at 3pm, told to wait another hour, but nothing.
Eventually at 4pm I said we wanted a full refund, and was told I was scheduled on the penultimate jump of the day, with three more loads before me. I got kitted up at 5pm, then waited another hour, finally boarding plane at 6.05pm. We eventually left at 7pm.

My wife is registered disabled, with MS. She was in severe pain all day, with just a bench to sit on. The cafe was mostly closed, only serving coffee and burgers from a hatch.

No-one apologised for the delay, there was no explanation of any kind. We'd been told that as a rescheduled booking I'd be given priority with "the first arrival time of any day". Waiting for 6 hours is totally unacceptable.

There is no way I can recommend this experience to anyone, unless/until GoSkyDive sort out their admin and treat their customers with more respect.

Thank you for your review, we're sorry to hear you experienced such delays. If you'd like to email marketing@goskydive.com. We'll happily looking into your case. Without knowing the details of your jump day, it's procedure for us to push back some arrival times to 12:30pm if we've experienced weather delays in the morning so that you don't have to wait the entire day. We are a weather dependent sport, which we try to forecast as much as possible, but sadly the weather does not always play ball. Priority jumpers are assigned to those who have attended on a previous day and been able to complete their pre-jump training, as communicated in the email.

Firstly let’s say that the actual jumping experience was off the charts. The guys and girls you are strapped to are highly professional and reassuring. Everyone’s safety is paramount and the vagaries of the English weather are beyond anyone’s control.
We were all advised that this could be a day experience and I write this mainly to advise people that this could well happen so be prepared. Our original date was cancelled due to inclement weather so 7 of us, 3 jumping, travelled 2 hours to arrive 15 minutes early for our 9.30am check in. Our flight departed at 6.30pm. A 9 hour wait which matched my personal record set in Malaga airport back in 2002!
They had booked way too many people in for a day that had been flagging cloudy for the 5 days in the lead up. At least 50 people were told at 3pm that they’d have to rebook for another day.
Communication was very, very poor. There’s no shortage of staff, lap tops, clip boards so why they don’t have the wherewithal to map out a flight order, and then inform everyone where they are in that running order is beyond me. A cynic might say it’s a ploy to boost cafe sales. The on site fair is distinctly average and seriously overpriced.
So in short I’d highly recommend the dive experience. Book as early as you can to avoid waiting. Pack a picnic. There is a Coop 400 yards away! (Note to cafe which ran out of ketchup and burgers)
Try to avoid using their toilets and despite 20+ staff on site none of them were qualified to clean the facilities.

My few times rescheduled skydive was booked in for Sunday 5th September and I was booked in for 9am. I live in Romford, Essex, so my wife, myself and our 2 young boys aged 4 and 6 left at 6am to make sure we arrived in good time. En route I got a text to say please arrive for 10am as due to the weather there would be a slight delay. We was already nearly there so made our way to there anyway. On arrival we was advised there would be a 4 hour delay due to the weather.

Flights started at 10.30am. At 1pm I asked for another update and was advised that there could be now be a further 3 hour delay.
Why if there was an initial 4 hours delay with flights starting at 10.30 was there now a further 3 hour delay??

However in between other people who had later flight times were going up before me. Each time I went to ask reception what the delay was, I got told “you haven’t been scheduled on a flight yet”. Each hour, I kept going to ask and nothing, different people were coming and going and I kept asking but didn’t get anywhere.

I asked reception if my weight or the fact I wanted the skydive filmed and photographed could be causing the delay and was advised maybe. I am sorry but I paid extra because of being 16 and a half stone and I also paid for the top photo/video package so therefore I should not be penalised for that.

I eventually jumped at 6pm, so a 9 HOUR DELAY - disgusting.. I was one of the last few in the holding area waiting, it was an extremely hot day and was not fair on myself, my wife or my kids to have to wait that long. We took lunch with us but not enough to last the day so spent a fortune in the café.

Don’t get me wrong, the skydive was a great experience but the stress of waiting all day did take the enjoyment out of it a bit. I personally think it was badly managed and should have been coordinated betted. So please be prepared that you may have to wait up to 9 hours!!!!!

average review because of the 9 hour delay!!

Thanks for your review. Sunday was an extremely busy day here at the airfield. Customers arrived for check in from 07.00am. This meant we 3 hours delayed getting going just at the start of the day. As a weather dependent sport it's something we have to be observant of. When we schedule jumpers onto the flights there are a variety of different factors such as weight distribution, availability of camera Flyers and altitude. Regardless we're really sorry for such a long day and will continue to improve our operational planning.

Do not book this if you don’t have time to go back and forth! My children booked this for my husband as a birthday gift. We are public sector workers and really needed a break for our 2 weeks annual leave. We planned to do the jump on the first day of our holiday so that we could travel the rest of the time and make the most of a well earned break. No such luck! We sat there the whole day to them be told no jumps due to the weather. Fair enough, we need to be safe. Come back next Monday at 7;45 to ensure a jump. We did not go away and this time did not waste money on a hotel so left home
At 5am to get there. Guess what. At 2pm, told no jump today. After explaining our situation to the manager on the day she agreed to put us at 13:30 on the Thursday so that we could leave later and would prioritise the jump.we got a text in the morning to say do not come as the weather means no jumps. We decided not to waste anymore time and head to the coast for a few days. On doing so we passed the jump site to our amazement people were jumping! I called and was told I could not speak to a manger. The person on the phone did not listen to me when I explained we were told we would be prioritised due to our situation. We have wasted 2 whole days there with nothing to do whilst waiting! The financial loss of a hotel and fuel to go back and forth and not had a holiday. Back to the NHS and fire service next week with less money and a wasted annual leave. Plus my children are devastated that their birthday gift for their dad has resulted in us not having a break. They have refunded my £210 I paid extra to do photos on the day and now I have to get the £200 back from buy gift for my kids as they would not help with this. So disappointed is an understatement. The only reason for the 2 stars is the staff on the ground and Instructors are so nice and do their best to help when you are there.

Emma, thanks for the taking the time to review us here and on Google. I've included the response below again for you. "Dear Emma. I'm so sorry that this did not go the way you hoped. We can see that the various days you scheduled were terrible for Weather. Sadly this has been the luck of the draw for many of us with the British 'Summer'. Thursday 26th was not an ideal day. Due to the poor weather in the morning, we were forced to cancel our afternoon jumps, as the mornings jumpers over ran into the afternoon at which point the jump queue would have been too long. This was done to avoid you waiting needlessly on site. We've jumped every day we can this summer, but sadly some things are beyond our control. As you mentioned we've refunded you what we could but the rest is with Buy a Gift, who we don't control."

I took my God-daughter and her friend to Go Skydive today, they had an exhilarating time, were well briefed and safety measures were consistent and ensured. The instructors were brilliant and the girls had a life affirming day. As we left, we had a puncture. We were rescued by Nelly, he spent 25 minutes changing the wheel with his own car jack.
I am very grateful Nelly and wish you all the very best in your career as a Skydiving Instructor. Very impressive, thank you!

A professional outfit, well organised, great communication before and after the event, I would defiantly use this team again and recommend it.

Please bear in mind this activity is weather dependent even on the day the weather can change and bring a temporary or complete halt to flying.

Safety is looked after in every respect by all the staff involved which ensures your and their safety at all times.

Expect to be waiting around the plane is small so limited numbers can jump at once, I found the team were well motivated, happy and did all they can to ensure my experience was the best that it could be.

I thought the video and still package is a little on the expensive side but every time I look back at the video and stills a grin from ear to ear appears on my face.

My skydive experience was absolutely amazing! The instructors put you at ease and talk to you on the way up in the plane and while your soaring. The bit I was most nervous about was free falling and honestly that was the most amazing bit for me! I felt totally safe and secure with my instructor.... I don't remember his name but he liked singing which totally put me at ease. The group I was with was lovely as well. I had to pay the extra £10 as I was over 15st but this wasn't made awkward just part of the booking in process, so if your over 15st don't let it put you off! I would definitely do it again! Great day!
