Although the house is not open to the public at the moment, the surrounding parkland is definitely worth a visit. Take a picnic and a flask of coffee and enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful parkland.

One of the most beautiful houses in the Wiltshire countryside. Dinton is certainly a place to visit for a country walk and Philipps House is a treasure worth walking for!

Had a super walk here today, mansion to the right, lake to the left. Met lots of lucky local doggies who no doubt treat this place as an extension of their back yard! Friendly humans too.

The house was not open when we visited but we enjoyed a long walk through parkland and woods. There are no toilet facilities but a fantastic place for many varied walks.

One of Wiltshire's best kept secrets, this small area of parkland of mature trees and lakes encloses a palladian mansion and an exquisite rococo manor house. All of which lies at the end of one of the Nadder Valley's loveliest and most unspoilt villages. The...More
