This is a tour of Salisbury by a knowledgeable guide. We visited Salisbury information centre to find out some information about the city. It was suggested that we could take a tour for £10 per person. The tour was 90 mins long & was led by Sue. She was an excellent guide, full of information about the history of the city of Salisbury & taking us to places we would not have seen otherwise - this included very old wattle & daub walls in Cotswold Outdoor shop! Salisbury is a fascinating city & I recommend this tour as a way of finding out more about the city.

We throroughly enjoyed a very enjoyable and informative walk tour last Wednesday (7th) with our guide Roger. His knowlege of Salisbury was immense and he showed us areas of the city that, on our own, we wouldn't have even noticed. The walk lasted longer than the shceduled 90 minutes and it was well worth every penny of the £10pp. Thank you Roger for a most enjoyable morning!

Joy was a joy to have as a guide. Her knowledge was wide ranging. She wore a mask for our protection, but we could hear her loud and clear. She always made sure we stuck together and kept out of peoples way. This was a GREAT introduction to the history of Salisbury.

We would really recommend starting your exploration by joining one of the Blue Badge guided tours of the city area - book at the Information Centre. This is the best way to get a feel for the place, and to decide what buildings or organisations to visit. Our guide (Georgina) was friendly and helpful and provided just the right amount of information to want us to find out more.

I absolutely 100% recommend doing the Salisbury Walking Tour! Our guide Ian was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable, funny, considerate and kept to time well. He gave us a fascinating glimpse into the history of the city with plenty of interesting anecdotes along the way. The amount of information we received meant money was well spent on this mini adventure. Great price for an unforgettable experience! Thank you very much! :)

Our walking tour was hosted by David who was so knowledgeable about the city of Salisbury. He introduced us to “mathematical bricks” which are used to reface old buildings. His knowledge and his ability to narrate throughout the walk was really impressive.
One of the highlights of the walk was a visit to a church where a painting of a religious scene was fantastic. David’s explanation of all the elements of the painting was brilliant.
I would thoroughly recommend this walking tour to anyone with an interest in history of this wonderful country.

Our guide, David, did a brilliant job in bringing alive the amazing history of this beautiful city. So glad I signed up rather than just following a route myself. It was a 90 minute tour that didn't feel like a tour (in a good way). David tuned into the group and shared interesting and relevant anecdotes with a gently walk form one talking point to another. Would highly recommend.

We had a very enjoyable and informative walking tour with Lorna. She spoke about the history of the City and the more recent events that made the headlines in recent years. It is well worth the cost as you learn so much about Salisbury.

David, our guide on our walking tour of the medieval city, was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. I was particularly fascinated by the mathematical tiles that I would not have known about had David not pointed them out. To walk around an area with a guide is a must and Salisbury City Guides are there to help.

Fantastic walking tour with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. We loved the route and the stories she told along the way. Salisbury is a beautiful city but you’re missing out if you don’t hear some of the interesting details, like Shakespeare’s visit, five rivers, beheadings, and an arrow-pierced deer selecting the site for the cathedral. Great value for the money.
