Wanted a less formal meal so went to the Cross Keys, the sun was shining and they gave an outside area at the back of the pub. Informal atmosphere, the outside eating area isn’t like the pictures on the website, it’s bench tables in a...More
Lovely sunny night so sat outside. Went in to collect a menu and see what drinks they had.
The bar maid wasn’t a happy soul, asked her about fruity ciders and basically she said there’s none available but didn’t give me any options so looked...More
We visited the Cross Keys on 22nd April 2018 for Sunday Lunch. It was busy however the atmosphere was chilled.Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.Th meal was delicious I had Turkey dinner and really wished I had ordered the battered Squid as a starter.

A great lunch from starters to desserts, great tasting food served by dedicated and efficient people.
If you want good tasty food at very reasonable prices with good drinks, forget Leeds Centre exorbitant prices and give this pub a whirl you won’t be disappointed
I have made several visits and the menu is simple pub tucker. Don't let this put you off. The food is well presented and wholesome and packed with flavour with little bits of finesse. The Sunday roast dinners are just amazing. I for one will...More
