Quite a nice shady walk, loads of chairs dotted around for old people. Quite a nice café but miserable staff.

After walking the meanwood valley trail ending at Golden Acre park. I was surprised at how pretty it is with a lake and woodland walks and a cafe with outdoor tables in a very sunny and almost mediterranean setting.

Make sure you get here early, particularly if expecting nice weather as the car parks get so busy! People park all over and it's just chaos on a nice day. That said its a great size park, lots of ducks and lots of space/ flowers and things to do. You can also get coffee, cake and ice cream! Worth a... More

Trying to amuse my two grandchildren 2 and 5 I decided to take them here. We parked opposite the Parkway hotel on Otley Road and crossed under the road via the underpass. We took the signposted lakeside walk and really enjoyed it. We stopped to watch the ducks , talked about the birds and squirrels and the flowers and plants... More

I love this park, so many different places to explore. We enjoy feeding the birds and following various trails.

Great day out. Nice park. Lots of flowers. A large lake with ducks, swans and other wildlife. Plenty of woods with a large squirrel population. It is one end of the Meanwood valley trail.

When in need of fresh air and a good walk, we're always happy to make the 30 minute drive to Golden Acre. Lots of space to walk around, great with kids too. Very peaceful.

I took my dogs to this park, which is well maintained! my dogs and I were both tired and happy at the end of our walk.. the park is huge, and too big to cover in 2 hours... I am bringing a picnic and my walking chair!

My husband doesnt walk very well over long distances so we borrowed a scooter. The staff were very helpful and told us although we didnt have a blue badge at the time we could come and park in their disabled bays. Lovely walks would definitely recommend it to disabled visitors and able bodied alike.
