A lovely spot to eat your lunch in Leeds City Centre. You reach it by the bottom of the Headrow across from Leeds Town Hall. The roses in summer are lovely and some interesting architecture in the square.

Park square is a beautiful park in the heart of Leeds. It’s lovely and peaceful despite being very central. The flowers there are beautiful.

One reason we love Leeds is that the centre of the city is so compact and very easy to walk around and on the western side if you walk North to South you should come across this beautiful square where blue plaques and signage will tell you the history of this square.

This elegant square of 18C red brick houses is a reminder of pre-industrial Leeds.
Filled with lawns and flower beds and with a good view of the town hall's towerand cupola.
On the south side of the square is one of Leed's most startling buildings, St. Paul's House with its minarets and turrets built in 1878 as a clothing factory.

Great for those who, like me, may not be big on cities or just need a little get away into the outdoors. Quiet, well kept and peaceful in the midst of an otherwise somewhat loud, rather busy city.

I went for a dinner time walk to get some fresh air and happened to have a proper look at this calm and tranquil park near the middle of the busy Leeds city centre. Very nice, and the surrounding building that edge the park are also very well presented and architecturally interesting. Worth a visit, very quiet, good place to get away for half an hour

A very well laid out garden with rose beds and grassed areas, very popular with office workers and visitors alike, almost within the shadow of Leeds Town Hall.
Attractive at all times of year but especially in summer when the flowers are in bloom.
