Great day out!

Day out with kids aged 5,6 and 11. Highlight was the wood fired pizzas in the courtyard for lunch! Great walks and playgrounds to keep kids amused all day.

This is a lovely place to visit, once you get in, we had to queue to get in, which would have been fine, but it seamed to take on average about 3 - 4 mins for each car to pay and move into the park which took about 30 mins in total. Once inside there is plenty of free parking.... More

First day of the year to be opened to be Good Friday. We knew we would have to queue to get it but it all moved pretty quickly. Book online day before if you can. Lots of places to sit and eat packed lunch. A couple of cafes and ice cream huts. A great adventure playground but a bit aged.... More

As it's not too far from home, we often go up to Harewood House, whether just a quick walk along the drive and around the gardens or a full day taking in all the attractions. Glorious views from the terrace at the rear of the House and great walk around the lake. Cafe offers plenty of choice of food and... More

I visited This attraction in the winter months so it could have been a better visit had it been a warmer day. The house is beautiful and well worth the visit. Also in the grounds is the set for "EMMERDALE". i AM NOT SURE ABOUT VISITING THE SET WITHOUT AN APOINTMENT SO IT WOULD BE BEST TO FIND OUT PRIOR... More

I love stately homes and this one is brilliant. It has lovely state rooms. The gardens are beautiful especially the Oriental Garden. The cafe on site is also good and value of money. The admission is a bit steep but the money u have to pay it ok as you can pretty much spend the most of the day there.

We went mid September and should have done as others had and taken a picnic . There were lots of lovely places to sit. We did a tour of the house and grounds and were given lots of information by the attendants. A great day out on our doorstep.

An excellent circular walk around hardwood house. The views of the house and lake are spectacular. Most of the walk was on dry trails, but the final section through the woods parallel to the main road was a little boggy. We finished off at the coffee house at the back of the village hall (muddy boots). They serve cakes and... More

We walked around here on Saturday and loved the variety of scenery and footpaths. A real treat with glorious views across to the house.

I have been coming here for years and love it / great in the summer take a picnic/ also it is a long walk from the 36 bus but in the summer months they usually have a little train thing that will pick you up for free and take you to the house .
