A good atmosphere but the food was only average. Having said that the staff were very pleasant and quite attentive. However will not rush back, expected more after the refurbishment. Food over priced for what it was.

Having eaten at The Roebuck many times, I always say it is good value and they do try to vary the menu on a monthly basis. The food and service is a little inconsistent, but in the main the staff are a cheery bunch and always try their best. The pub has just had a refurb and now looks and... More

The newly refurbished Roebuck is impressive and comfortable. I afraid that's where complement's end. The meals were average quality with meagre portions - we requested sauces (tomato) there was non available. We ask if there was an alternative Barbecue sauce was offered at extra cost. Some of the desserts were of very poor quality. The cost of the meal would... More

Food arrived after a normal times space. All three of really enjoyed our food. One star off as the sweet potato chips were put on... More

Visited after being renovated, found prices have increased no doubt due to costs, service was good but food was overcooked and not good enough, complained but only received an apology.

Food was ok, nothing outstanding. But the staff need to learn how to serve customers, the food was almost thrown at us by the young mail waiter, as was our coffee. Though the lady from the kitchen was lovely, she brought two of our meals out and she was lovely, asked if we wanted sauces etc. the young waiter needs... More
