This is an old school, proper boozer. No music, no gimmicks, no garish lights and just quality beer and great craic in a traditional working mans pub. Sam smith beers on tap and bottles make the visit even more worth the trip. Massive beer garden...More

Not been to this pub for many many years, and to be honest couldn't remember much about it. We have been 2 or 3 times recently and really wish I had been before now. Its a real traditional old pub, with several small cosy rooms....More

I came to Bradford as a student and this pub was my favourite. Returning years later with friends I wasn’t disappointed. The inside is warm and cozy with traditional dark furniture and snugs. The beer is great, the staff are friendly and outside still boasts...More

A traditional pub with a main drinking area and two snugs. Except for the Old Brewery bitter and the Stingo bottled beer, all the other beers and ciders are suitable for vegans. The young member of staff who served us was friendly and pleasant and...More

This is a really nice, traditional pub in the centre of Bradford. Cheap, good beer and a real fire place ... so unlike these new chain pubs and so much better. Well worth a visit.

Sam Smiths beer is great. On the 2-5 warm sunny days a year, you can enjoy their massive beer garden. The rest of the time, there is a cozy fire. Very nice atmosphere, wood-panelled and antique. Very local place, lot of regulars.

A nice old Sam Smiths pub with lots of interesting working-class history. Cheap beer, characterful interior, and an outdoor drinking area out the back. A good town centre choice.
