We visited this area on our little walking tour of the city. While the markers on the pavement were good, we felt that a little more could be done to highlight the buildings and their history. Perhaps the area will look better after thoughtful regeneration.
This is an interesting part of the town which is the merchant area and business district. Look out for Hamm Stasse to mark the area.
Some impressive and stunning buildings are a feature of this part of town. Very impressive and well worth a visit.
Enjoyed a walk around Little Germany, a city centre area containing numerous 19th century listed buildings. Some highly impressive architecture, certainly worth reading up on the history of the area, from when the city was a centre of international trade.

Easy to miss but the names of the streets will show you that you're there. Interesting architectural buildings and worth a visit but not for those who find walking up hills a challenge as the roads are steep.
