Visited whilst on a short break in Arundel. Good menu and at reasonable prices. The food was good and so was the service we received. Didn't stay in the accommodation although looking at it, if we were to visit Arundel again, it would certainly be on the list.

I would recommend eating here, but you need to book early as it is a popular restaurant.

Went in for lunch today as it’s very well located on the A27 next to Arundel. Food pricing is on the high side with most mains in the £15 - £20 range that seems quite a lot for a normal lunch.

We opted for sandwiches that seem better value at £7 - £10. You do get a decent meal but it’s not a bargain.

One night stay on Easter Sunday following a day at the castle and a visit to Chichester on the Monday. Got a deal through Secret escapes £125 inc breakfast AND £25 per person off dinner food! Room very comfortable - quiet overlooking car park at back of the hotel. Bed was really comfortable and room as expected v.clean. Evening meal was good value - I had soup to start - and gammon and eggs chips for main course. Both very nice and my partner had Sirloin steak which was very well cooked. Enjoyable good pub food and value for money. Service was a little slow but there were only two peeps working front of house and they worked v hard. Breakfast was very good -with a decent selection for a small establishment and set us up for the day. Clearly popular with locals for breakfast as a number came in while we were eating - a good sign. Recommended. Would add the check in receptionist on the Sunday afternoon was very helpful.

We had a very pleasant couple of hours in the bar
Sitting next to a nice open fire on a cold damp late afternoon.staff are very welcoming a nice background music while you chat and enjoy your drink.
This is also a hotel and would consider staying here.

Dinner with 2 other family members
Nice staff
Poor value portions, not well presented food, too few chips in my sons fish and chips, curry basic with no extras, too expensive, won't come again.

Easy place to find, even if the sat nav say it is on the other side of the road. Plenty of parking Very comfortable bed, in a lovely clean room. The bar area is large and very comfortable with lots of individual areas for seating for simply drinks or dining as well.. Food was great, the size of portions would satisfy the biggest appitite. Great breakfasts, we are definately returning.

This was not our first visit to the White Swan, but this time we had increased in numbers!!! We are now six adults, two toddlers and twin babies of 7 months booked in for lunch on Boxing Day this year. We had a large round table for our gang which was brilliant, with sufficient room for a double buggie, all our presents plus ancillary bags for the children.
The food was lovely, and the staff were very helpful and understanding to our needs.
Thank you to everyone at The White Swan. Great venue and we will be back for our next family get together.

The pub was very busy, and clearly it is expected that at busy times there will be certain issues. That being said, we were a family party (that had pre-booked over 2 months prior) of 17 with young children and the waitress was incredibly rude. She rolled her eyes at us, she said “Jesus Christ” under her breath when I apologised for putting my 18m olds food on a side table to avoid her spilling it once she had finished.

We also waited at the bar for 20 minutes whilst at least eight members of staff continued about their business loading trays for the restaurant, over and over again (table service drinks).

The carvery food itself was ok, the meat was delicious and the veg was ok, the potatoes were awful, reheated and inedible. The chef on the carvery though was very helpful and a delight.

Overall, having been here many times, I would come again at a time I know won’t be busy as the food was ok overall but I certainly wouldn’t come for the service!

Last minute booking and on entering it had an inviting and welcoming atmosphere. Room very clean and well equipped. Comfy bed and good quality towels and bedding. Clean and well decorated. Had a room at the back overlooking beer garden and imagine it would be noisy in the summer. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed a night cap in the bar with a sandwich. Good choice of breakfast that was piping hot. Didn't need to use the restaurant but it looked a little pricey. For people with dogs it was ideal. Would definitely stay again

My friend had her wedding here on a weekend, the room was nice and clean but wouldn't call it luxurious, I think the room prices are little high for what you get. Food here was good, breakfast was wonderful with lots of choice and came hot and fresh. Most staff are very friendly and helpful, the manager or wedding planner was really great and took care of everything.
This place is very family friendly and well-equipped for what you need.
The rooms need a little bit of refreshing or updating to keep them modern as at the moment they are quite basic.
