    Handy road transfer from railway station
    The taxi rank is immediately outside the London-bound platform and a 5 second walk to the front of the waiting taxis. Should there be a lack of taxis the booking office is a 10 second walk from the station main entrance. Drivers helpful and polite - taxis clean and odour free; very reasonable rates whatever the distance

    Great Service
    Stayed in Arundel over the weekend and used Castle cars on two occasions. Arrived exactly when they said they would. Friendly drivers, clean cars, reasonable prices. Would recommend.

Was told when booking that minimum card spend was £10, but driver would “sort something out”. Apparently this meant driving to a a cash point that would have added 1.6 miles to a 1.3 mile trip (which according to the meter would have already cost £6). Seems like they just say anything to get you in the taxi then charge you what they can. I am an Arundel resident and this is the only taxi company in town, but I will not use again under any circumstances.

I made a booking to be taken to and collected from Goodwood House. On arrival, the driver requested that I pay for both journeys - and I refused, preferring to pay for the outward journey only and return journey when I was picked up. The driver suggested this was "policy" but no such policy had been mentioned to me when I made the booking. At no point did the driver suggest that I would not be picked up due to non-payment in advance of my return trip. So, 00:30 comes and goes. I waited for an hour but no taxi materialized. Thankfully, a very kind security guard drove me home instead. I have just spoken with the owner of this firm and he was not apologetic at all and appears to think it is OK to leave a woman stranded at Goodwood House at night. I will never use this appalling firm again and wish I could give them a rating of zero!

Great weekend Great Cab company

Had a lovely weekend in and around Arundel all facilitated by multiple trips in and out of town using Castle Cars.

A big thank you for the excellent service, prompt arrivals and drop offs including getting us to our return train with minutes to spare due to our bad planning.

The controllers were all very friendly, helpful and professional, and the drivers also cheerful, very funny and clearly knowledgeable about a town and area they were rightly passionate about.

Once again thanks a bunch, and look forward to returning and availing ourselves of your services in the future.

Based at the railway station car park in Arundel, Castle Cars were very helpful, punctual and careful drivers. We use CC on our week long stay in Arundel and were never let down, Would certainly .recommend.

I use castle cars on a regular basis but today they were just very unprofessional. Rang from work to ask for a ride home due rain and possible thunderstorm. Was told be operator no problem no indication of a delay. Forty mins later and three phone calls an older gentleman arrived. No apology and then has the gall to go long way round and wants to charge me £7.20 when it’s usually £5.40. Very disappointing as I use them regularly and some drivers are lovey.

Fantastic. Made the booking online as was attending an event over 48hrs in advance , communication was superb and timely. I had made a mistake on my booking (wrong day)and they called to check due to other bookings for the same day and location. If it wasn't for their customer service and checking I would of been stranded at my hotel and missed my event. Car arrived on time with a very lovely lady driving (didn't catch her name). Thank you very much castle cars for a fantastic service

We were going to take the train and shuttle bus into Goodwood on the last day, but got to the station and there was a 30 minute wait for the next train.
Decided to check with Castle Cars if they had anyone free.
Within minutes Christine turned up with her very comfortable Lexus. We got to Goodwood quickly because of the drivers local knowledge, made a booking to return and swapped numbers, just in case we wanted to come back earlier/later than planned.
We got a call to say the car was ready for us 10 minutes before pick up time, no pressure to hurry at all.
The best but was coming back. Compared to the packed car park and closed roads that took us 45 minutes to navigate the day before, we were back in the pub in 15 minutes!
Lovely friendly and efficient service. Highly recommend.

Great service from Castle Cars
May 2022
My flight was already coming in to Gatwick at an unsocial time before it was then delayed until the early hours…but Sylvie still turned up with a smile to meet me. The journey as made all the better by the great conversation that I really appreciated given the time of day. Sylvie is a very good, safe and confident driver and a super nice person too! Thank you to Castle Cars for the great service from the booking to delivering me home, I will definitely book you again and recommend you to others x

Prompt, friendly and highly recommended

We used Castle a couple of times over the weekend. We stayed at Fontwell Park and used them into Arundel for the evening. Our driver was prompt, chatty and took a short cut to save us sitting in the Revival traffic. On our return, she came into the pub to let us know she was there, but no hurry to finish our drinks as she was early.

Second trip was a return to Revival on Sunday. Different driver, also prompt & friendly. Gave us great instructions on where to wait for our return trip that evening which we managed to mess up, exiting a different gate to the one we entered in the morning, but he found us and again, took a short cut to get us back to the hotel in record time.

Would definitely recommend and use again next year.

unreliable and rude

The most unreliable service! Booked them for my wedding for my family and they let them wait over an hour. We prepaid and it is just really rude how they treated us - no apology, no explanation. I called four times and every time they were like, yeah we are sending a cab now, it should be with you in 15 minutes. And then they didn’t turn up. Don’t use them for an important day like your wedding.
