Great for Little Ones
Aug 2021
Amazingly this was my first visit to the park having moved to the Coventry area in 1977!
We went with our one year old granddaughter and she loved it. She was fascinated by the flowers, veg patches and fruit trees and loved the Fairy Garden. Plenty of things for her age in the play area too. Had a nice lunch afterwards in the Allesley Village Cafe.

Space
Nov 2020
Wish people observe the Government Guideline for Covid 19 virus and give space to oncoming walkers. There are a lot of people who won’t give space, especially women and people with prams who are too busy chatting with each other. They do not think that anyone could be carrying the virus.

Walk 11.11.2019
Nov 2019
A large park on the outskirts of the city with a good size car park. We needed to walk the dog so came here for a change as it has a hard paths. Had a good walk and was surprised how many people were walking at that time of the day. Impressed.

Easy free parking , pushchair accessible, dog friendly.
Take the little ones to see the pretty fairy garden and continue round to a super park for the children , mine particularly liked the zip line. Equipment area fenced off so nice and clean .

Good park for a stroll.

Wether you want a short stroll, or a decent walk or a nice park to take the children, this park has it all. There isn't a cafe here but they do provide toilet facilities. There's also a walled kitchen garden.

Pleasant park with a variety of attractions
Feb 2019 • Couples
Allesley Park is a fairly compact park, with a lot of different attractions depending on what you're interested in. Access is easy with a long drive leading to a reasonable sized free car park.
If you are visiting with children the well equipped play area is very popular and there are also large well kept grassy fields that are great for a game of football or a picnic in the summer. These fields are also very popular with dog walkers (who all seem very diligent in clearing up after their dogs.)
There is a pond which has resident and visiting water fowl and watching the chicks is always interesting, there is also loads of frog spawn and tadpoles in the spring and sometimes dragon flies can be seen.
My favourite place is the walled garden, which is run by a group of volunteers and grows modern and heritage flowers, fruit and vegetables. They also hold regular 'open mornings' on Saturdays in the summer.
A well maintained path runs around, and across the park, and provides a level surface for a very pleasant 30-40 minute walk though the variety of areas, some maintained and some left as wild areas for nature to enjoy, there are lots of different trees and old hedgerows which attract a lot of birds.
There is also a crazy golf course and a decent full-size golf course as well.

An interesting change from the Memorial park
Jun 2018
Nice circular path with a few ups and downs which the kids enjoyed scootering on. Pleasant playground with a good variety of equipment. Little crazy golf + a 18 hole well kept pitch and putt course (charges).
If you take a detour round the back of the hall, there is a wild flower meadow planted in what was a paddling pool I remember from childhood - look for the remnants of light blue paint.
