About
Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve is the headquarters of Warwickshire Wildlife Trust. Set in 220 acres, the reserve has large pools and a variety of footpaths around the reedbeds, willow carr, grassland and woodland. It is outstanding for birds and there are seven bird hides throughout the reserve. Around the reserve you'll find the orchard, mouse maze, mini-beast homes, bird watching hides, and a newly designed sensory garden as well as an under-cover picnic area. At the end of your visit, enjoy refreshments in The Badgers Kitchen - providing hot and cold drinks, light meals, Sunday lunches and a range of delicious cakes. The Visitor Centre also includes a well-stocked gift shop, with animal homes, bird seed, bird feeders and an extensive range of gifts and books. We are pleased to offer children's activities during the school holidays! For grown-ups we also have a programme of events and guided walks.

    Nature gem
A gem of a nature reserve just outside Coventry - really enjoyed our time in one of the hides. Lovely walk on well tended pathways of the Kingfisher walk. Will definitely return to see more.

    Walk Around Brandon Marsh
First time to Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve and despite it being a quite time for wildlife I saw quite a bit. A Jay, female and male Common Darter Dragonfly, male and female Gadwall ducks, Black-headed Gulls and Mute Swans. A really great walk well worth the visit will definitely go back in the spring.

Cat goes AWOL. Found safe at Brandon Marsh Visitor Centre.
A really beautiful place to visit. So many lovely walks and lots of birds and wildlife to be seen. We went as we live quite locally and our cat had made her way over there (a mile away) and couldn’t find her way back! Rachael and Richard were so helpful. Cat was spotted whilst we were there and Richard helped us find her. Thanks all. We’ll be back - but hopefully without the cat.!

An amazing day out and a first for me! Saw a Reed Bunting and a Yellow-legged Gull as my new species.
What a day! I will come back here soon some time for definite, as it has hides a cafe, a visitors centre and amazing view over marshes, reedbeds and lakes. 5/5

Although the hides are not open at the moment (COVID), there are plenty of opportunities to spot some interesting birds - shovellers, long-tailed tits, siskins etc... I also saw a deer in the woodland on my last visit. There is a walking trail for children to follow as well as a gift shop. The cafe was open for hot drinks and cakes to be consumed outside. A lovely place and I look forward to my next visit.

Great day out in the Warwickshire countryside. Great value @ £3.75 each. We saw lots of different birds. We were helped by very friendly co-visitors in the bird hides; they all shared their knowledge of birds and wildlife. This enhanced the experience greatly.

Had an amazing day at Brandon Marsh. Children loved finding minibeasts. A huge highlight was the food at the cafe there- the ‘Badger’s Kitchen’. The cakes are amazing and the portions are huge - a real treat after our walk. My recommendation is the chocolate brownie or the carrot cake - haven’t had better anywhere!!
It’s a place you can spend the day at, with something to do for everyone

Lovely to be back although that wasn’t the impression we got from staff and volunteers. We had to wait for the lady at the desk to finish a lengthy conversation, then told off by a lady in an official t shirt for standing in the wrong place!! The new people in the cafe however were lovely, as was the food. Surely a cheerful greeting is not too much to expect.

My friend and I came for breakfast yesterday and it was delicious. My friend had the veggie breakfast and I had a normal breakfast both scrumptious. Really nice coffee too! Too full for some home made cakes or cookies but will definitely be back to try some.
George came and said hi which was a lovely touch.

I've only recently started visiting Brandon Marsh and it's a great place to go and have a walk and sit in the hides.

It's nice to just sit in the hides and watch nature in front of you. I'm on the lookout for Kingfishers but they have proved elusive so far!
