Good days fishing
Nov 2020 • Solo
Been going to meadowlands for at least 17 years now and all I can say is that it is absolutely amazing day fishing you will not be disappointed.
But went Wednesday just gone (25/11/20) fished the pole at 7meters and it was fish after fish. I was using red and white maggot on the hook and using castors and maggot for my loose feed.
I was targeting roach bream perch and tench and it didn’t disappoint.
The staff are so friendly and welcoming I can’t wait to head back tomorrow for another arm aching session.

great fishing at a great venue
Sep 2018 • Solo
had a great day, after a coffee and chat with the onsite bailiff who was both helpful and friendly, I headed to my peg armed with lots of local knowledge and a couple of bags of 8mms. I pinged at 30m all day and had a lot of carp and bream

i have since read the review that slates the bailiff and it was the same guy and i can tell you i have visited this place three times and found him nothing but friendly

Great location, great fishing, ignorant, rude bailiff.

Fishing at Meadowlands is excellent, it is a great location, and fantastic fishing, even using basic rigs. The only thing letting this fishery down at present is the annoying red neck of a bailiff that seems to gain pleasure out of putting a damper on an other wise good days fishing. Where did they scrape up this ignorant, rude, MORON. I have seen many bailiffs come and go from this fishery over the years, and this guy is by far the worst they have employed. The owners of this fishery must be desperate to employ such an idiot. I visited the above fishery on the 13/9/16, as usual this brain dead bailiff ruins the day. Obviously having a half percent of authority has gone to his head, he thinks he owns the place.Iff you ever go fishing there look out for sad a little man sitting
by a hut, he is about 4ft tall, and has a tattoo of the Union Jack on his neck, has the IQ of a sump plug, and the charisma of a dead fish.!!!!!! other than that a great place to go fishing.!!!!!!!!!!.

Carp and bream fest
Oct 2015 • Family
Get some pellets from the kiosk and ledger them at 10 to 15 meters and do not leave your rod, the venue is match fished so the carp are a bit ugly but fight hard. I do not fish maggots as the silver fish just come and come. A great all year venue!

Excellent fishing

Very close to home,5 minutes away and ample parking if you get there early before the matches,
There are some lumps in there up to high double figures,
I like to fish for the Tench, Roach and Bream but be aware you you hit a fighting fit Barble or a big chub 6lbs plus,
In the small lake there are some big grass carp, just hope you don't hit one on the pole,
The staff are very helpful and there is an adequate tackle and bait shop where you can buy fishery pellets,
It's not the same since John sold it but there are still plenty of bites to be had just a hard job wading through the small carp which take anything and everything once they move in
