A really lovely warm and welcoming church. A must visit especially if you love churches. They were serving teas and coffees when we were there which was nice.

The church has been on this site from 1113 but burnt down in 1257, The current Church was rebuilt in the 14th Century. The doom mural and stained glass are worth a visit and it is a stones through from Saint Michaels cathedral.

For such a building, people often seem to pass by on their way to the cathedrals. Don't! It's an elegant, awe-inspiring church that still conveys the grandeur, and gives an indication as to Coventry's past.

A gem in the middle of Coventry City Centre. Lots of history and a remarkable story as to how this church survived the Coventry blitz. What makes this church lovely is the atmosphere of peace and the quality of welcome given when yo arrive.

A wonderful Church just by the Cathderal but a real gem and the newly discovered Doom painting is worth a visit just for that

SO worth a visit, for the stained glass alone. Beautiful building, architecture and artwork and it's free. Quite different to the cathedral but equally atmospheric.

On visiting the contemporary cathedral we were walking back towards the centre as there are a lot of churches. Well worth a stop

The highlight of the church is the “Coventry Doom”, a medieval painting created in the 1430’s above the tower arch, and said to be one of the most important discoveries in medieval art. It depicts the last judgement, with the consequences of charitable and uncharitable...More
