The guide in the new Cathedral was very knowledgeable. The Museum with the film of the Blitz and the rooms associated with this were very informative as were the guides.

Just stepped off a canal boat holiday and decided on a quick visit as we had a tight time schedule. So pleased we made the decision ti do so, in spite of torrential rain. Arrived as it opened, reasonable cost, also we were told visit to the tower and the blitz museum inclluded in the cost. Wonderfully atmospheric, breathtakingly beautiful,... More

Interesting and enjoyable visit plenty to see and full of history. The old cathedral is well presented and gives a nice walk with pieces of art work all around

We visited the cathedral as a church group of visitors and were all surprised by the beauty of the new cathedral, the etched and stained glass windows are stunning and we were in awe of the tapestry, the amount of work that must have gone into it the making of it and the detail in it, particularly in Jesus face... It was quite moving to visit the ruins of the old cathedral, this had been destroyed by bombing during WW2, they are well preserved & present a reminder of the futility of war. The 1960's modern cathedral is very adjacent to the old & is breathtaking, much... More

Interesting reminder of WW2 and very poignant. It makes you think what the city of Coventry suffered.

A good place to visit, especially if you know a little bit of the history of it. After the bombing, rumour has it that 2 wooden poles fell in the shape of a cross. The then priest said that Coventrians should not seek revenge, but forgive. On the cross formed by the poles, is now written 'Father forgive'. Since then... More

Coventry Cathedral ruins are just seeped in history - and you can really feel that when you walk around. It's popular among tourists and locals alike, and walking by it feels like you've stepped back in time. Recently, the Cathedral has gone above and beyond with attracting brilliant events to the city. They've had a house music night and live... More
