A very nice square, just packed full of interesting information. Kind of put it all into perspective. Even the "Peeping Tom" story now makes sense. We traveled on a coach tour of the British Isles.

Coventry, it's hard to see really, is actually an ancient city. Surrounded by modern concrete and up there on her high horse, Godiva reminds us that this is an ancient place despite the surroundings, It's a nice enough statue, eschewing the too-frequent tendency to overdo the Victorian modesty and cover her Ladyship with convienent tresses of long hair. Not that... More

We went down to this place and the surrounding has changed a lot and the peeping Tom and Lady Godiva on top of the canopy was fun watching when the clock strikes. There were a lot of people as visiting this place as the cathedral is near and so is the transport museum. The students are away this time and... More

It's a statue, in a nice square, so if you are in Coventry city centre wander over and take a look, but it is not the sort of thing to come to Coventry specifically to see. However, there are plenty of other attractions in Coventry to make a visit worthwhile

I'm sure most of us have heard of Lady Godiva - now see the statue! If you are in Coventry, you may as well see it as it is very centrally located.

Everyone knows her story but being there are experiencing it is an altogether different experience. Dont forget to catch a glimpse of Peeping Tom just above the Lady Godiva Clock on Broadgate. Truly a must see if you are in Coventry.

We really loved our day in Coventry as it is a very beautiful city with a good mixture of old and new. The Lady Godiva Statue is located in the middle of a pedestrian square, surrounded by shops and restaurants, so it is east to see and the simple floral planting around its base add a wonderful splash of colour.

What a surprise it was after leaving the museum and going for a walk around. There she was in the middle of the square in all her glory. The friend of the people who got taxes dropped (along with her clothes).
