I even booked one taxi via the app put asap they were there in 2min on a Saturday night! All offered to help me in and out the car. And I don’t mean a few mins lateBooked about 2 weeks in advance to take a wheelchair passenger out for a special occasion. Passenger has to be transported in a wheelchair. Two previous bookings had worked well and drivers been great. On this occasion I called to confirm booking in morning and was told they will arrive “as close to to the booking time as possible” I wasn’t too concerned as I presumed may be a few mins early or late. I called after about 5mins of it not turning up to enquire estimated arrival time as we had a restaurant booking. Was told there were no taxis in the area and they would call me back in 5-10mins to see what they could do! They did call back and told me it would be about 20min. All in all 40min later than booked. They make no apology…apparently they can’t guarantee a time, just “as close to the booked time as possible” this is their standard phrase and appears to them to be a perfectly reasonable way of running a business…needless to say we won’t be booking with them again unless the time we need it for is not important. Suffice to say I hastily cancelled a taxi I had booked to take us to the airport!!Visited October 2022Written October 29, 2022

We had amazing banter and he actually sung to me so I gave him a tip (I work in the music industry so this was ultimately delightful). I booked a taxi to pick us up, I gave an hour and a half notice and still no car turned up and I wasn’t notified that they couldn’t got a driver. They just didn’t want to pick us up because they didn’t like the location! Booking confirmations received via email. The outward taxi turned up but the return journey taxi did not. When TOA were contacted we were told the taxi driver said he won't be coming as he is too far away! This left the student and staff member stranded at the venue. We had to find an alternative at short notice which isn't easy when you are requiring wheelchair access transport at school finishing times as they are already booked for school to home journeys. Booked about 2 weeks in advance to take a wheelchair passenger out for a special occasion. Passenger has to be transported in a wheelchair. Two previous bookings had worked well and drivers been great.

I got 2 taxis whilst staying in Birmingham and both proved to be not only professional but my last taxi back to the train station made my day. We had amazing banter and he actually sung to me so I gave him a tip (I work in the music industry so this was ultimately delightful). Fast and efficient service and both drivers even opened the door for me which I thought brought a special touch.

Eunice storm meant we couldn’t get a train back home from our hotel in Shrewsbury today. Phoned TOA and a taxi arrived in good time to get us back to Birmingham Road conditions were terrible but the driver was friendly and efficient in getting us back home. Would thoroughly recommend this service

If I could give zero I would. I booked a taxi to pick us up, I gave an hour and a half notice and still no car turned up and I wasn’t notified that they couldn’t got a driver. They just didn’t want to pick us up because they didn’t like the location! They’d rather leave me and my young child freezing in the cold sleeting rain ( -1 degrees)

I booked a taxi via the app. The driver turned up early, didn’t notify me that he’d arrived and then left. I had to book another and was then late to my event. To add insult to injury I was charged a “cancellation fee”.

I booked a wheelchair taxi for my mom, I made sure that I booked a return at 2pm by 2.30 taxi hadn't arrived. When I called TOA I was told that they were trying to get one but couldn't tell me when. This left my vulnerable disabled mom waiting. The service is appalling. I won't be using them again.

Avoid, Avoid, avoid. Booked a cab that simply didn’t turn up, every time I called for an update I was told 20 mins, each time. I registered, booked and paid for an Uber in the time it should’ve taken but it still didn’t arrive. Go somewhere else, do not use.

This is the email of complaint I sent to this disgracefully bad taxi service. I’m still waiting for a reply:
I can’t believe how badly you let me down today. I booked a wheelchair taxi two days ago to take my 93year old mother and I to Solihull Hospital at 1.45pm for an urgent appointment. She is very ill and infirm.
At 1.30 I rang you to check all was on schedule, only to be told the taxi wouldn’t be arriving, as there were ‘none in the area’.
Why did you take the booking if you weren’t sure you’d be able to honour it? And why didn’t you let me know earlier that there might be a problem, so I could make other arrangements to get my mum to hospital?
In the end, I had to struggle there on foot with the wheelchair and we were very late for the appointment. I’m disgusted by your poor service and look forward to hearing your response.
