Underground gem. Glad I’ve experienced this cinema. Sofa seats were comfortable. Overall a better experience than Everyman cinemas. Could improve by selling popcorn

Great experience and we booked a back sofa with waited service! Cinema is quirky and has plenty of character! Walkways were a little creaky but that comes with the age! Sofas could be a little further apart but overall was a wicked evening!

Unfortunately I didn’t get chance to use my groupon here , there is a very short date on vouchers and I didn’t want to go all the way to Birmingham to see a film I wasn’t bothered about seeing. I hear good things about the...More

Whilst staying in Birmingham took the opportunity to go to the pictures and found this wonderful Art Deco cinema at the back of new st station . The sofa seats are particularly recommended. If in the area find time to visit.

What a fabulous place ! I think it’s the oldest working cinema in the uk. Has a great intimate atmosphere and has a range of sofas at the back if you are a couple or going as a group of friends . Highly recommend.

As a cinema the Electric Cinema is satisfactory. However!!! Yes, however.... I went to watch a National Theatre Live recording of All About Eve. One of my absolute favourite films and I was looking forward to the live recording of the theatre production. The content...More

It's a gorgeous Art Deco cinema that oozes old world charm. The sofa seats, with waiter service, are brilliant, a real treat. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony there - the staff were amazing, so helpful. We even got to show special short...More
