Although only seeing a recent popular release, the Electric Cinema experience was incredible! A cinema with 52 standard (very comfortable and plenty of leg room) seats are augmented with 12 single leather 'armchairs' and 6 'sofas' , seating 2 or 3. The refreshments include tea and coffee and little I she's of sweets and fudge. These can all be ordered... More

I love films but have never been to this cinema despite being 45 minutes away. Then the wife and I get a child free weekend I booked up. Lovely reception area with just two screens but lots of character. The only downside was I saw Suicide Squad which was a real stinker. Will look out for one of Electrics special... More

Just as great as last year. This is such a great experience - the ghost walk around Birmingham is spooky and fun but the real fear starts when the film begins - a beautiful venue and great staff - love it.

If you have a night in Birmingham, you have to check out the Electic Cinema. Great friendly atmosphere, good bar and snacks, a unique experience!

Been a few times. Shame they shut it down for so long. Smells a bit old in there could do with a snazzy revamp but it's ok for a quick trip.

Cinema Visit with the special people in my life. Beautifully renovated Cinema, old world elegance and charm with modern technology. We had a three person sofa. Very comfortable and excellent service. Wines lovely and reasonable, snacks beautifully served. Looking forward to our next visit.

Charming old cinema (claims to be the oldest running in England.) Nice little touches like vintage tickets and comfortable sofas. Themed, speedy cocktail service, well priced, friendly and efficient staff.

This is an old building with a modern approach to watching films. There are two screens and both have armchairs at the front and settees at the back. If you use the settees you are able to order drinks and nibbles via the text service and these are delivered to your seat. The seats are comfortable, the sound system good... More

We missed eating dinner and heard that the snacks at the Electric were good enough to keep us happy. The Nacho's were inedible and looked like something you would find in the garbage (never eaten garbage but this came as close to it as I could have imagined). Enough about the Nacho's because we go to the Cinema's to see... More

A lovely little cinema conveniently just outside the railway station. The sound and picture was excellent though of course the screen and auditorium is small - comfy seats and a small bar with nice quality drinks and snacks - I would definitely come here again and highly recommend it over the highly commercialised and overpriced big cinema complexes.
