A lovely little cinema conveniently just outside the railway station. The sound and picture was excellent though of course the screen and auditorium is small - comfy seats and a small bar with nice quality drinks and snacks - I would definitely come here again and highly recommend it over the highly commercialised and overpriced big cinema complexes.

Took our niece to experience this oldest working cinema in the UK. Luxury leather couches, waiter table service (Just tex through to the bar and it appears as if by magic!) Watched the latest Ghostbusters with nachos nibbles. What more could you ask? Get along and experience it, make a buscket list.

My first ever visit to watch ab fab and I don't think I will go to another cinema again They have a parking arrangement with the car park round the corner so parking was nearly half the price. The cinema is gorgeous and small. Friendly staff. We sat on front row in recliners. So comfortable. Prices for food are good.... More

Great intimate experience. The majority of films I watch, I will watch them here. The seats are comfy, the sofas are fantastic and the text/service is convenient. If you are a massive film buff and want to watch big CGI films, this is not the place for you as the screens are fairly small compared to most cinemas. However, the... More

We went to this cinema for the first time, been meaning for along time and it was worth it. We went for the sofa's and they was comfy. The drinks choice I found for the cocktails was small but nice to have one in the cinema. Had to go for the electric ale and I was surprised, not bad at... More

I love this place, it's brilliant to visit and book the sofas and text waiter service so you can have drinks and snacks brought to you to enjoy throughout the film. Staff always nice and helpful. A building steeped in history and such a great alternative to the other cinemas around .

I absolutely love the electric. Screens are fairly small but the energy within the place is superb. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and sophisticated and the style takes me back to cinemas from when I was a young lad going to the pictures with my dad. There are an excellent choice of snacks and drinks that you can take in... More

Visited this little cinema whilst passing through on the canal. We often go to local cinemas on our travels and this wasn't a dissapointment. The seats were comfortable and the building has lots of character and charm. We made good use of the text drink ordering service. Recommended.

This is a really nice little cinema. There's a good range of seats and even the standard ones are really comfy and have loads of legroom. Well worth a visit when you are in Birmingham.
