Excellent service at the various stores within Selfridges Emporium . Went to buy an item at Red 5 , and the service was great so we stuck around and shopped a little more !

I couldn't believe it when this building went up. Again, Birmingham's designers ought to be sacked immediately. Quotes like "looks like a baby's bum with spots" have been aimed at this appallingly horrible looking building. And it's no better when you get inside. The staff, if they bother to acknowledge you at all, are very rude and look at you... More

Well they set up a classy store. The higher you go the higher the price!! £1450 for a pair of trousers!! No evidence of servitude. Not one sales staff member approached us in 30-40 minutes of browsing!!

Perhaps not as impressive or iconic as the London original, this is a very good store nevertheless. As is the case with all large department stores it takes time to find the bits that you really like, but they are definitely here to be found. Food hall, kitchenware etc - yes please!

You could be anywhere in the world or in any shop anywhere. There are plenty of designer areas and restaurants to sit and chat. Lots of cosmopolitan people milling around, and staff are always nearby to help

Selfridges has a number of concessions, including clothing and fragrances but my favourite areas is the ground floor with food hall, eateries and tech section. wine and spirits section has some very interesting items, some of which are quite hard to find, the staff are very helpful.
