This is a terrific experience, especially for an Archers fan! Seeing behind the scenes and hearing explanations of how the episodes are recorded was so enlightening. The demonstrations of 'spot' sound effects (who would have thought that pouring hot water to make a pot of tea sounds different from cold?) ... seeing why the outside scenes are recorded in a special studio ... hearing stories about the cast - all were such treats. Thank you to fantastic guides Holly and Gary!

I organised this tour as a surprise birthday present for my sister. What a fabulous day we had. Our guides Holly and Gary were just fabulous. They were so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Two hours passed by in a flash. We had such a giggle when we were asked to record a special edition of the show. We loved every minute if it and have recommended it to all our Archers friends!

This was a fantastic tour, the guides, Nikkl and Holly were so enthusiastic and knowledgeable . We learnt a great deal about the Archers, both technical (sound effects and props) and script writing. The tour ended with a quiz which was greeted with great enthusiasm. It was a brilliant day and I would recommend it to any Archers fan.

Holly was excellent as a guide. You really need a fan to do it. Might be a bit long at two hours but if groups ask a lot of questions then there is plenty of time for that. We went to Cote Brassiere afterwards and chatting to the waiter found out that Peggy Archer is always in there after a long day in the studio. Excellent food and service btw
